The command squad really needed the plastic cc weapons to drop at the same time to rescue it.

Yeah, while I plan to get some of the characters, I am not planning on getting any command squads until all the options are out. Maybe that's my critique of the heresy overall right now, it feels more half-done than it did previously. If I want to build a more thematic, decked-out collection, I can't because of it isn't out. So I wait

Weird how they changed the gold between SoH characters. I know a lot of people like the rich, warm gold that GW favors on aximand and things like stormcast and custodes, but I really prefer the colder version. Doesn't distract from the main colour as much.

About time for the russes and the suffocated AT stuff. The more generous spread for solar aux continuous to make their bundles more attractive, not to mention that their units tend to have way less duds.

Agree with the command squad comments, just power swords still don't cut it for me. I've been scavaging bits sites for the CSM axe and mauls for my SoH (as carason axes) and Terran ultras.

I agree, the more brass like gold looks far better and will probably be how I end up doing the trim on my own SoH.

So by my reckoning, the Astartes LI army box is made up of the following;

- 1 x Infantry box

- 1 x Fast Attack box

- 1 x Heavy Support box

- 1 x Rhino box

- 1 x Kratos box

Price dependant, I can use all that. Almost an auto-buy.

The Solar Auxillia box is similar.  Those big boxes plus the core box armour starting to come out is a great thing that should have happened 3 months ago.

Meh, we're now half a year out since launch. Said it before: for Specialist games standards we're getting a flood of kits at breakneck speed.

Once the cc weapons drop I may get some. However, for the moment I'll bide my time. Enough going on elsewhere.

So £150 rrp as things stand. £120 with 20% discount. What rrp sounds about right for the battle group? £120? £100 would be too good to be true.

Pinched from the LI Discord. Translated based on the existing Warmaster it's £105. So £45 discount at RRP (£30x5).

Nice little Heresy release week. Feels like it's been a while since we've seen multiple items drop at once. Must have needed to clear the slate in preparation for Ad-Mec. And AoS.

I will definitely need to get my hands on all those characters except Marr. Eventually.

Always good to see support for the Horus Heresy. A shame it's resin characters and LI with only a single upgrade sprue for Space Marines but hey maybe GW will remember we exist at some point and actually release the long overdue and desperately needed melee sprue or maybe even a new plastic kit.

It was only a matter of time before the Space Wolves meme became a wider Heresy thing.

Bit annoyed that the melee weapons aren't here yet to accompany the command squad, but hopefully not too far off, as it's a bit silly now. Glad to see the command squads up for order though and I'll pick up Horus Aximand as well.

Surprisingly also from the article, which hasn't seemed to have attracted much attention:

Here at Warhammer Community, we continue on the road to the new edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, but with a few surprises – including a new entry in the Exemplary Battles of the Age of Darkness series.
