Mechanicus Implants. In the book for Heretek it says that you have Mechanicus Implants and then in the description blurb it shows a Load of Implants. Do we get them all?

All of them- the Trait gives you the Electro-graft, Electoo Inductors, Respirator Unit, Cyber-Mantle, Potentia Coil, and Cranial Circuitry. Most of them don't do a whole lot without getting further Talents, like Electoos being able to shoot electricity via Luminen Shock. All you really get to start off with is the +20 to resist airborne toxins with the Respirator and the ability to access dataports/cogitators with the Electro-graff. Its with the upgrades that they really do some cool stuff.

All of the core ones that Lord Ikka listed, but only one choice from the following : Luminen Capacitors, Maglev Coils, or Ferric Lure Implants (though a heretek character could use their starting freebies to take all three instead of cybernetic limbs, etc).

I'm still getting to grips with the ruleset and the interactions, so I'll defer to our Cool Dudes In The Know^TM with my thanks.

 

I'm sure I can fill in the gaps as we wander through it. I know there's a lot of differences in the Skill and Talents, so I'll make sure to peruse before asking for a test.

 

Just on that subject, my intention is to run as much of this with narrative as I can, but if you get into scraps, we'll be into hard crunch. On maps and charts, expect few and infrequent depending on situation. I don't have the time to invest in a complete companion's guide. Attacking an outpost will need a tactical approach, a trawl through a sewer does not.

For those interested, this is the IRL inspiration for Ukalegon who keeps me company and focused at work. At gunpoint. The purity seal was a gift from a fellow tech-adept a few cubicles over, and a fellow closet 40K fanatic. We try to have fun.

Also, since a dice has been rolled we are safe from this bad Omen regardless of how Xin fairs (still a believer Xin ,don’t give up).
