How does Druid know who Ukalegon is?

 

How does he know the he has Crux'as?

 

Is Druid the one Seryna called Caleb.

 

Is Seryna the Mole?

 

Anyway we don't IC know about Druid's conversation.

Putting on my meta-gaming hat (sorry), Druid is most likely a cult magus, meaning he's a psyker of some potency, so he could have been telepathically snooping on us all along, or he lifted the names and memories directly from Crux'as's mind. Mind Probe, for example, requires an opposed WP test, though it looks like the opposed portion challenge is possibly waived if it is being used surreptitiously (see BC Core Rules, p.224). Since it's a short range power, my guess is the Smiler got Scanned by Druid.

I reckon Tarh has the best shot at it. A man moving alone could move fast and evade detection...but if it goes wrong...

Regarding locating the Smiler, we know from the logs that the purple lot had work crews in the old prison cells/area, between Seryna, the map data we have already and whatever info we can get out of the command centre we can probably locate it. And once we get close the micro bead can be pinged.

On a different note, I failed on the First Aid for Hagga, is this something I can have anoter go at while we are planning our next step, or is the dmage done for this time period?

Anyhoo, First Aid, I'd have to look - I'm not sure how it works in BC, I suspect it's fairly simple. I'll get back to you unless a more learned frater knows off the cuff...

As far as I know, there aren't any downsides to a First Aid failure (it's only on Extended Care tests that you might do more Damage?) but I'd assume you only get one chance at doing the test... don't sweat it, Hagga is on 15/20 so he isn't too bad.

 

Cyrandras probably still needs a roll?

Crux'as will be trying to drag out any sort of conversation from Druid and the other cultists- while he doesn't have the knowledge of GSC, he definitely knows chaos cults and that this is not one of them. His best hope is just to delay until the cell can do something to help him, as being in the clutches of a hostile, cannibalistic cult is not exactly good for one's health.

Not for the first time this game, I feel confused and betrayed.

So far as I know, there are only two ways that the GS infection can be transmitted - through the Ovipostor of a Purestrain, or through having sex with someone who is already infected (like a super STI, I guess?)

 

So, as long as there aren't any Purestrains there (don't seem to be at the moment) and Crux'as keeps it in his pants , he should be safe from infection for a bit?

 

Though I suppose psychic/hypnotic attack is a danger too, but hopefully he can resist that for a bit?
