I used reikland wash over the gold then highlighted with liberator gold and the Black was highlighted with Mechanicus then administratum grey. The crozius handle has been washed with nuln then highlighted with mephiston red. Now I just need Apollo's head. hd3 Posted August 19 Author Share Posted August 19 Thanks to grotsmasha I finally have the cape and heads to finish my characters. Apollo Diomedes has the four stud head to match the game while I had to cut away some of the helmet to get Jonah's head to attach. It'll just have to be battle damage alas. I also finally got the 'IV' decal I needed for Davian. Now just battle damage and varnishing and my 1000 points are done. I tried using AK rust streaks this time with white spirits to blend it in a bit more but honestly I think the effect is a bit dull. Now just need to spray varnish everything. hd3 Posted August 29 Author Share Posted August 29 (edited) Proud to report that the Blood Ravens first battle was a victory over the Iron Warriors. Highlights include my Captain and Assault Intercessors killing a terminator lord and terminator squad as well as Gabriel Angelos and Terminators killing a predator tank and a rhino in a single turn. I also included a full shot of all 1000 points of models at once. With this, this log is back on hiatus until my resolve breaks and I inevitably buy that Repulsor Executioner to bring me up to 1500 points. None shall find us wanting.
