abraxus
So I've been away form teh hobby quite a while.... still been buying models I liked, but just never getting past the build phase. I decided last week I need to get SOMETHING painted. I had just gotten the 30K Mechanicum heavy support box and the pile'o'shame was at the tipping point. I finally decided on Ryza, as I don't see a TON of that around. So here are the first two pieces at a 90%ish completion point: Now, the Krios is less then 90%, simply because it is completely magnetized on the main weapon and the other 2 arent' even started past the base coat. I'm really not sure how I want to do the treads. Both need weathering, and weathering terrifies me. Firedrake Cordova
Looks like you're off to a good start. For weathering the tracks/treads, you could use weathering pigments. If you apply them dry, you can simply brush/blow them off if you don't like how it looks, before you "set" the pigments with binder.
