It's become apparent that all the abhorrent/questoris boxes seemingly have been pulled from the online store as far as I can tell. Usually this only happens in the immediate run up to a release, which would be at best - odd, given the recent roadmap.

Conversely I can't imagine GW not selling questoris chassis until after both Tsons and Wolves are out.

Coupled with the skipped week of releases recently, I wonder if things are a little confused behind the scenes. Maybe some releases will get smushed together to maintain schedule? I wouldn't mind being able to buy the new IK and CK at the same time as the Sekhetar bots.

We just saw the missile pod rumor engine that looked like knights. Maybe knights release soon? There has been a rumor about some mechanicum knights too.

Large stompy lads are always neat.

I think the real question is whether Knights come before or after SM2.0. I am hoping Knights and Votan come first as it would feel wrong to me for Marines to get a second codex while some factions are still getting by with Index lists.

There's a preview show sometime this month right? Could be we'll see what both lots of knights are getting there with pre-orders coming quickly afterwards. They were in the "coming next" section of the last road map so I think it makes sense we'll see them soon.

I think, for me, the biggest issue is that they're not selling the armies key miniature. At all. They've hamstrung sales and representation of the whole army.

If that's not resolved until after tsons and Wolves, that could well be a few months.

So it would, in my limited understanding, suggest they're coming earlier.

Dare i suggest, what would please the Omnissiah more than a big fella like a Knight?

Im hoping the Omnissiah would answer something like, “the ability to take 30k mechanicum in games of 40K”.

Still as a knights player I’m looking forward to what comes out.

Would be strange to put them on preorder before a preview and ahead of already previewed armies.

I think you might've misread that. It's about a reveal during the week, not the preorder preview coming sunday. Probably a Monday Model reveal.

My guess is that a new form of Armiger/Wardog might happen. For the Imperial side, something like a rocket/missile-armed knight with a smaller ccw would make sense; the Imperial Armigers lack anti-infantry firepower in the chaff-killing department (I've been tarpitted because Warglaives can only kill so many in melee...), while the Chaos side I can see some sort of psychic Wardog being a thing.

Rumour is a questoris for both, the Imperial being a shield dome type affair and the chaos being a siege engine.

Hmm. Don't really know if that's what's needed for either army in 10th. Imps are running (in general, competitive circles) a max of 2 big Knights with one always being Canis, while Chaos are almost always all Wardogs with a rare big here or there. Another 400+ point model isn't really going to change anything. Though to be fair, another Armiger chassis won't change a whole lot either. Knights are a difficult army to balance properly.

I can kind of see the shield-dome Questoris being useful, if it does something like increase the invulnerable save of all Knights within 12" of it. It would make for a pretty nasty centerpiece charging with a couple of Warglaives.

Chaos siege engine...why? If the Desecrator's laser destructor isn't good enough, just up to a Tyrant for a volcano lance. Don't really see the point when you have both the Desecrator and Tyrant as ranged combatants, with the Despoiler also able to fill in with twin thermal/battle cannons. Unless it is a close combat siege thing, in which case that will kind of take the Rampager's slot.

I guess we'll see.
