Previous Path Boon

Kemedra Llyn – Path of the Performer (Dancer, Artist)

Evil Eye, choose two of these three option, or if you have something very specific in mind let me know and we can discuss it.

  • Performer (Dance) + Trade (Artist)
  • Charm
  • Step Aside

Performer and Trade are both skills that allow you to carry out that activity, with the skill check determining how well it goes. So perform a Dance (whether to entertain, distract, set the mood etc ) and Trade Artist allows you to make work of arts (though you will need materials dpending o nthe sort of art you have in mind.

Charm is a Fellowship based skill that can be used to interact with NPC, you dont need to test for normal interaction, but you do whenever you want to sway them to whatever you intent is by being charming.

Step Aside is a Trait that grants you an extra reaction in structured time, this extra reaction can only be used for Dodge reaction.

This will be a very interesting thing to read! I hope you don't mind my quiet observation. I wonder what fate has in store for these Asuryani...

Welcome to the Bolter and Chainsword ImmediateFrog.

Fate has nothing to say at all, that is what is so perturbing Farseer al-Dram and why he wants volunteers to go forth and find out.

Anyway, I hope it iwll be an entertaing games for all, participants and readers alike.

My first dice roll. Anyone have a preferred dice roller? Used to rolling in discord but I'll have to pick a site.

To make sure I got this:
The first "easy" test is Agility (45) + Easy (+30). No special bonus for pilot since none of the +% boxes are check.

So roll a d100, try to get under 75? By Khaine the last hard test will be trying to roll under 25! Noone else get on until the test flight is done...

Sometimes we use Orokros, but we go on trust a lot here, and I think Tro has mentioned you can just roll real dice, and report the results. I know I do - with play-by-post it enhances my gaming experience.

Figuring out how the online dice roller works? Roll a 10.

Actual roll for my first skill check? Roll an 87.

Sounds about right, to me!

As Mazer said, we are relaxed here, so roll by whatever method works for you.

You got it, I did debate making it Very Hard (-30) to mirror the Easy, but felt that was a bit of an ask.

And I thank you for that, because it would have been a triple failure if the last modifier was -30.

Oh... dear.

I havent looked at the IC thread yet as i was grabing a bit to eat first, now i have a bad feeling baout it...

Edit:

Well that was not as bad as it could have gone...

Just throwing it out there as an interested observer, but if you are using the Rites of Battle Vehicle Rules, then usually a vehicle adds a +/- Maneuverability modifier to Pilot tests. Usually the more nippy things like Land Speeders (or filthy xenos flyers?) get a decent bonus?

It might help you for future tests, anyway!

Good call, though I think for simplicity in this game the vechile rules will be more guidlines than applied. For now I'll give a suitable positive moddifer to pilot test if warrented by the situation and see how it goes.

A blind jump from a moving flyer carries a more risks than just the warp for someone who can't fly... then again it's not the fall it's the landing.

Given the strange nature of the webway, and the tech in the jump generator, for the purposes of this game you can assume that if you do jump out the jump generate will do everything it can to put you on (or near) the ground and that it will shed most of your residual velocity from having been on the Featherflight. It may not be a gentle landing, but it won't be as rough as the worst case version of the crash.

You can of course hope that your skilled pilot passes all 4 test quickly without to many fails in between so as to bring you all down as gentle as possible in the circumstances.
