In terms of setting a target I would guess the two areas I would put forward for questions would be for some kind of bearing on the guardians and whether or not the humans we encountered (or are following) are tied to them.  As the results would give us some indication of where to turn next.

I'll go with that.

Correct, it is down to A.T. as I think he is the only one with it trained.

Edit: Had a thought, away from the files so i am not sure if anybody has surface navigation skill but if you do that could help with the tracking

So, if anybody has Navigation (Surface) then a pass on a +0 Navigation Test that will provide a +15 Assist to the Tracking

I have checked and only Venkarryn has Navigation (Surface) (for some reason this mornign I though there may be two of you that had it) so if he can pass his test that will help. perhaps a bit of naration of the two of you workign togeter to find a way would set the right spirits.

Also a 50/50 forthe trackign is not bad, just not great.

Ialandranth Veilseeker

Run - 60m max distance - if the middle-east greenery offers full concealment he'll hide behind that, otherwise north into the heavier concealment

Ok I played a little loose here, hope that is ok. I placed Ialandranth in the terrain I think you meant, as technically you would be hidden form the main Dark Eldar grouping, but one of them (Dark Kin 5) had just arrived before you, though on the north side of that terrain, taking cover between tree and rock. So you are hidden, but much closer then you might have liked.

Also allowed me to add a bit of further information for the players as from where you now are you could see things that the character previously could not see, both in respect of the Raider and the nearby Dark Eldar.

would my speed be slowed going through the trees?

I am going to say no, you are not slowed. This is partialy for simplicity, partialy that while the trees are close enough to provide plenty of cover opportunities they are not so dense to hinder movement.

Also would it help to take one of the dark kin alive for questioning?

I'll leave that for you all to decide if a cpature attempt is worth your while.

Just an FYI everyone, I have been in discussion with the GM, and he's offered us a few options - we can take control of the guardian and maybe try to get info from it later on if it survives. I'll have Saoirse open a telepathic link so we can all see/commune? Do we want to try and 'control' the construct, or have the Mad Psychic Bomber doing Psychic bomber stuff?

If I take control of it, do we want to wade it into combat, and maybe take the memories/info from it before it's blown up, or march it off somewhere?

Just to add to that, another option available is to get ' The Information' now, but doing so would exclude the other option of directing/controlling the Guardian.

Also directing/taking control would not use up Saoirse's action for the turn (as she already gave up last turns action to establish the psychic connection) so Mad Psychic Bomber stuff can still happen.  Note to sell check what range the doubleganger spell has.

It doesn’t seem like the dark kin are able to deal with it either way (less so now we’re engaging)…

For all that the DE have been struggling so far, they did manage to put 7 wounds on the guardian in round 3 (one of the reason why I provided the start of turn 4 update, so that you had the information) and had the Blaster hit it would have likely been dead twice over. Just so you are aware.
