None of them, they all have splinter rifles, aprt from two by the Raider (wich have a shreader and a blaster repectifley, they are out of line of sight from you).

Dark Kin 7, the one that shot Mike Zulu, is in the far sout east in the trees.

Dark Kin 8 is by the tree in the east, but has run for -20 to hit.

Dark Kin 1, the only other one that I think you could draw a line of sigth to is in the north west.

@Akylas Sorry, just ignore that comment and attack as you see fit.

My knowledge of Dark Eldar is rough and I made an incorrect assumption.

You had just been shot at, and the two weapons are simmilar, and the Dark Eldar shooting at you was in cover and hard to make out, so all seesm like a reasonable in character thing to say.

Reaction: Dodge AG 49

D100: 13, Pass plus 4 DoS, + 2 DoS from Unnat AG.

I have been meaning to ask this as this has come up a few times in game (but I don’t think it made a difference before so never quite got round to it).

Are Dodges an opposed test?  The extra DoS from Unnatural Agility (or any Unnatural characteristic) is only when dealing with opposed tests as far as I can tell fro the Core book.

Because without them, the above dodge is only 3DoS (as unlike Black Crusade you don’t get one just for passing), and that would mean only 3 of 4 hits of the FAB dodged.

Wow, ok - this one caught me out, DH's Unnat does only apply to Opposed Tests, which Dodge is not....interesting, since RT and DW both play it as Pass = +Unnat on any test. I'll have to have a revisit on that to make sure, across in Spectre.

Off to fix it!

EDIT: Have negated Hits as Applied, so removed hits last to first with the DoS as described as above. Please let me know if this isn't right, and I'll amend as advised.

No worries, just one of those little differences that trip us all up from time to time.

Also sleepy brain was sleepy this morning. I saw 3DoS and 4 hits and came up with one still hitting, but in fact you dodged them all as the initial pass on the test discards one hit, and each DoS thereafter an additional hit, for a total of four.

So no toxic crystal shard for you.

If I shoot at the bottom right Dark Eldar is there a penalty? It looks like they're in the bushes.

He is in the trees, so has some cover, but as he has shoot out at the players he is not actively hiding so no LoS issues or to hit penalties. Hits to the body and legs will benefit from the cover the trees provide (I can’t remember what that was, will check when I get home).

Turn done.

Had a minor surgery this morning. Nothing too exciting and home already but the pain and/or meds might make me a bit distracted for a bit. Apologies if I mess up any rules.

No worries, and wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope all is well with you.

Brain being slow, what is the +10 from (not that it affects the end result)?

Half Action: Concentrate.

I might have to check if DH is the same as RT and DW. I'm relying on FFG Copypasta.

EDIT: Is the Shredder Dam Type Energy or Rending, please GM?

Shreader is Rending.

No dodge. Not experienced with how injuries work in Dark Heresy but depending on where he was hit does Kelman get one of the "7"s on the rending critical damage table?

Let’s see

Damage 24 – 3(Toughness bonus) – 5 (Armour 7 – Pen 2) = 16 wounds suffered

Kelman has 18 wounds, so you are at [16/18] which means you are heavily wounded, but not critical damage yet.

I think I had 1 wound from splinter fire previously although I might have been able to avoid it. I didn't know extra DOS could apply dodge to more than one hit.

Either way glad I'm not quite out of wounds yet.

Correct, forgot that, so [17/18], still good, just.

The DoS on dodges to avoid additional hits is only agains FAB/SAB style attacks that are many attacks all togeter.

if I slow down, and stay in the trees would my camoleoline cloak let me attempt a stealth check?

Concealment Test (Ag) is a Half Action

If you don’t move at all (this turn) you get +10

The cloak adds an additional +20, additionally if you remain stationary you counts as extreme range for enemy weapons.
