how loud is a fusion gun?

Loud enough to trigger a noise check, but not so loud to have any adverse modifiers to the check.

Indeed, may I Sugest a Fate point reroll, as a 100! will not just be a failure by 4 degrees but extra critical give were you are and what you were doing.

Well, no sweat - if that Fusion Gun goes off the sentry won't hear anything!

But others might hear the Sentries final words...

Was getting concerned - I'm glad you checked in.

Hope you feel better soon!

How loud are our various weapons? Ialandranth will be able to teleport behind unwary guards and mince them with monowire fairly easily so long as no-one is watching, but there are a whole lot of wandering guards liable to spot him or the body almost immediately by the looks of things...

Sial’s Ranger long rifle is probably the quietest, then the various Shuriken weapons. Death Spinner, Fusion Gun and Reaper Launcher are all louder.

Things like Running/Sprinting is also more likely to draw attention than more cautious moves, and using the wrap jump generator will certainly cause some noise at both its start and end point (not sure how exactly it works in universe but I assume like other ‘Teleportation’ methods that the air displacement from the sudden vacuum at the departure location and the forceful moving of air away from the arrival point to make space for the teleporter will cause some noise).

Also keep in mind that even if your actions are not noticed, injured or dead Dark Eldar may still draw attention (crying out, falling to the ground, their own weapons fire if they get the opportunity, etc).

However that all said, there are currently still some sporadic wepons fire noises, and cries of pain from injury as the last reaming escaped slaves are hunted down, so making a little noise is not going to automatically result in being spotted.

If we could take out a few guards moving south maybe we could free that batch of humans midway between us and the vehicles as a distraction before alerting the camp?

I think the ranger rifle is the best for disruption - hit one or two guards over the far side of the encampent to draw attention away.  Though getting reaper missiles on the top guys before they spread out / know to dodge would also be valuable.

I suspect we may only need to kill 1 or 2 orange guards and that might encourage the humans to revolt or scatter.

I'm going to attack the Sentry ~80 m SSE from me, to give us some space between them.

Some Black Library authors like to emphasise the smell of ozone whenever something teleports...

With a good cast of Executioner I could get to that range and put a boot in to help?

It's ok, Saoirse has Psychic Power: Febreeze.

@Trokair Sorry,  I’ve fallen afoul of the swear filter again, can you please approve?

Tro can't, but don't worry, a Moderator gets a notification if it happens, and they're pretty hot on.

My last post is similarly delayed, can't for the life of me work out why from the contents though.

Looking at your post I would hazard a guess at the Ballistic Skill abbreviation being the culprit.

Surprise/Unaware targets are at +30 to hit (p235/p249 in Core), I should have included that in my start of round post.

So that is three more DoS for the Death Spinner resulting in 2 additional hits.

Edit: having made the roll that Kabalite managed to dodge all the hits.
