Ialathial Duskstrider:

Ialathial realised he addressed the Warlock informally, but she appeared to accept the query in good faith regardless. Ialathial did not like to dance around the subject. As a Warrior and a Dreamer he was no stranger to death, and had no intention to perturb the Seer on the delicate matter. Yet, if it were pertinent to the mission at hand, they needed to be prepared.

Satisfied with her answer, the Avenger lowered his catapult and bowed his head. “i appreciate your insight, Saim’Soairse.”

“Degenerates,” the Avenger hissed at the sight of the slaver-kin. Instinctively, he raised his catapult at the approaching skimmer and assessed his surroundings for firing positions.

“+Ready yourselves+.”

Saoirse:

She nodded to her companions, delaying the urge to summon eldritch power - these were the Dark Kin, and such, had esoteric detection much like her kin about.

Ialathial (Blue), Kelman (Black), Ialandranth (White), Venkarryn (Yellow), Saoirse (Purple)

The collective DoS of your group for silent move/concealment  vs the collective DoS awareness of the DE was such that there is no change in their Awareness of you. As previously stated you do not know if they have spotted the group, and you still do not know, but their awareness or lack of it has not changed relative to just before structured time started.

Saoirse:

That the Pain-Eaters hadn't immediately rushed them spoke to the fact they hadn't got a certain sighting, but likewise their posture suggested a search pattern.

What were these Drukhari deviants doing? Was this a second attempt at murdering the Craftworlders after the failure of the blood-cannibals in the Webway? It must be so - they were known to breed and employ such barbarous creatures.

Venkarryn broke from the group, but Saoirse stilled any protest after his confident statement. If he could be in position to cripple the raider, all to the good, but if not, swift-shod feet would have to support him...

For now, all she could do was wait for an opportunity to discern one path from the other.

Ialathial Duskstrider:

An enemy quiet and close at hand, is comfortable and strong where they stand.

Duskstrider agreed with the Dark Reaper.

”We strike the skimmer first. Let them come to us. They will not idle for long.”

The Avenger sought to reposition himself to a superior location, eyeing the brush several meters ahead.

“We should all take ambush positions to dispatch their warriors, once their skimmer is down.”

Full Move: Ialathial will Run to the next bush to his East (should bring to just outside SW-side) and crouch.

Spoiler

Slient Move: 46 (Ag) + 10(Unnat Ag, Opposed) + 0 = 56 required

Roll d100: 46 = Pass, 1DoS

Dark Kin 1 & 7

Move (10m) west (1) and south (7)

While most of the Dark Kin are hidden from your sight you can perhaps catch a glimpse of one or two moving in a deliberate manner away from where the raider had come to rest.

Kelman Next

Ialandranth Veilseeker

The trees were well positioned to conceal his approach, two jumps to the raider but patience was a virtue here. Allow them to disperse and pick them off.

Ialandranth watched and waited as he tracked the progress of the dark kin.

Saoirse:

Saoirse has plenty of range, so she'll stay put (hidden) and observe:

Per Test D100: 49, Fail, by one IIRC.

The Drukhari were obviously waiting for something, spreading out perhaps to search, but their milling about was incongruent to a species whose purpose was to pounce and murder.

Curse their indolence! Flaunting the very nature which earned them damnation in the first place!

She stilled her mind, thinning the heat of customary Saim-Hann choler. It would backwash and cloud her abilities, and now was not the time. The austere superiority the Humans so disdained her people for was nothing short of rising above the murky sludge of emotive effluent. It was all too easy for a mind so instantly satisfied to enjoy revelling in filth. The degenerates ahead were constant, undying proof of that...degradation.

She was grateful her companions had trodden the Aspect paths. Their disciplined minds would be as keen, unsullied blades in the tumult approaching, something to cling to and admire when the monsters stirred from their decadent idling.
