I, Grotsmasha, vow to paint all models from 1+ Boxed Games. I still don't know what I will vow for january. But I might as well assign my plodding along objective for 2026 (not that I did anything for last year's...)

 

I, Heraclite, vow to complete at least one kill team (scout squad or death guard that I already own, or any other I may build along the run of the combat patrol magazine : votan, ork or genestealer cult kill teams)

Starting point, a bunch of bits. I don’t expect I will do much with these until the New Year as I am supposed finish painting some heavy weapon teams for my Guard before the ned of the year, but posting these now in case I have a bit of time today to take part in Grotsmasha’s Boxing Day Bash, and if so I will be doing the scout in the middle as unlike the other two I am not going to be converting any part of that one.

While I try to figure out which model will be pledged for Jan., I will start with a plodding along:

 

I, Bouargh, embark in 12MoH 2026 and pledge as a plodding along vow a scenery set to developp more my ashland thematic table under the form of a mining site with AT LEAST:

- a set of cranes

- a pair of hills

- a Diesel power generator

 

Part being MtO I will have to wait for delivery latter this year.  Rest will be bitzbox management… So, no pic.

I’ll start my January as that was what I was trying to get through before I remember Christmas actually means spending time in traffic instead of relaxing at home. 

I, Blissful Brushes, embark on the 12MoH 2926 and pledge to complete my Votann combat patrol which is:

I haven’t a sausage what the unit names are if I’m honest, I’ll get a photo up when I’m back home. They’re in various states of paint right now, so I might have to tweak those numbers if more are done than I think.

 

Jetbike on right is done, one of the power armour dudes is done, left column of basic infantry are done minus weathering powder and most have been base coated

I vow to launch the Silent Waaagh! on the world of Armageddon, by completing 50+ ork infantry models (I have a huge pile of primed Orks waiting for a good mood, this is the time). It will be mostly Boys, Kommandos and several characters (including warboss Snikrot)

My plan for 2026 is to concentrate on finishing what I started and holding back on buying new stuff. Seriously, I still have all the elite marines of the Indomitus box just assembled and primed so far, so buying a new starter box with marines is surplus to requirements. 

My overall plodding along vow will include working on the 4 Kill Teams that are already sitting here in various stages of completion (30k Night Lords, Nemesis Claw, Fellgor Ravagers and Mandrakes), I would like to finish the Tyranid army that I started in 2025, I really should get some paint on the terrain that is sitting here and as a special project I would like to built, convert and paint a Night Lord knight (I already have the Imperial Knight box here). There are also more than 50 (!!) Night Lord affiliated models sitting on my shelf (characters, cultists, raptors) and of course the above mentioned loyalist marines and also some Heresy Forgeworld models (Sevatar, Khârn, Garro). 

As you can see, I already have enough models here that need work. 

 

So here goes:

I, Valkia the Bloody, vow for the year of 2026 to finish at least some of the already started projects and at least try to resists buying any more shiny new boxes before having made some progress on the backlog. 

 

As a concrete vow for the month of January, I vow to paint 5 lictor-esque models for my Tyranid army- the Deathleaper, Neurolictor and 3 Van Ryan's Leapers. 

I have already started on them and we have another holiday coming up Tuesday, I hope I can make some progress. 

 

I also finished my first model for 2026, Valkia the Bloody, possessed human pet of the leader of my Night Lord Warband- smaller raids she is allowed to lead herself. 

They are a pirate warband, so the armor she wears she had stolen after killing the previous owner in a sneaky ambush.
