Some progress with the first 2 Characters pledged for this month

 

Next will be the proxy Inquisitor. It is already very well advanced.

As usual, I will update the follow up of the Bingo card once everything done.

While decals are drying on my last model, I have decided I will add servohaulers has another pledge for April. Count as « Machines »

That's it for April. I have primed some Aeldarii yesterday and I am still procrastinating about the AdMech units I have to paint.

In the meantime, back to ToW with some fellwater trolls and dwarves (my first attempt with 3D printed 3rd party miniatures)

I have kept on working on my card with some extra stuff for may: Dark Reapers and Yriel. I have just noticed I did not post the pic of unpainted models, but they can be found here:

As may isn't finished yet, I will extend my pledges with 5 GSC models (1 x Rank & File):

 

 

Let's go to the work bench for these lads that have been undercoated something like 18 months ago...

Good morning all,

 

It has been a rainy WE and I have had time for hobbying: One game, One unit painted and One piece of scenery done (even if if is TOW)

The unit painted is the Battle line Hybrid for the GSC I do not play... 

 

 

So, 1 Rank &File stamp on the Bingo card:

 

 

Now the dilemna: to paint (more) or not to paint? CtA26 is coming, so part of my backlog will be set on hold for 4/5 weeks or so until the challenge starts. In the meantime, there are 10 days left in May and I can use them for one additionnal entry. Being a CSM battleline unit and as I do not have more, it is not that critical if I do commit the paint job out of the CtA calendar. I am a point chaser but not that a point chaser.

 

I have already started doing some tests for colour. Will I transform it into a full paint job? I have to think about it overnight.

I've made out my mind: I will add another entry this month under the form of a Nemesis Claw unit (Battleline):

 

 

The 2 test models I ve made from these guies convinced me to go further - and as I will be "bachelor-like" half of the week, I will have night painting sessions available:

This KT unit adds a Rank and File entry to the score card. Whuch btw completes a row!

 

 

 

That's all for this month. June will see the start of the CtA26 annual challenge, so I might wait a little bit before pledging stuff. I may enventually add before June 15th a Spiritseer to the card though. Unless I switch to ToW until start of the challenge.

It's June. And CtA25 will start in a couple of weeks. Whereas I have a few units to be painted in CtA26, most do not fit into the categories left on my Bingo card. It will therefore be a month probably low on entries. Yet I still have this model, kitbashed recently:

 

 

So I'll start with this Psyker, which might have been pledged in CtA for 5 pts, but, is it worth enlisting a single entry in the Xenos Faction? I've decided it is "NO".

My card is therefore gaining a badge in a strategic position: it therefore completes in the same time the first column and the fourth line.

 

 

What will come next? It becomes tricky as, even with my backlog saved for CtA26, I have material elligible only for the Elite and 2 Machines slots. I should really resume my old Epic material. I have started the challenge with this earlier this year but put it on pause. It might help getting additionnal "God of War" or "Machine" stamp maybe. But not all the slots left available. Remaining "Leader" and "Heroes" entries will therefore still remain tricky to achieve under the current state of my backlog.

With CtA26 at point of being launched, I will add this month another stamp for "Elite" under a Hastarii unit. The elligible rest (2 x Ironstriders) will be for a latter date, probably July

And it is done for June with 1 Hastarii Unit. A second one has been completed too, but there is only 1 stamp to be earned so...

 

 

My BIngo Card is now waiting for Monsters and Machines. With 2 Ironstriders in line of sight in July. And as I just compulsory boought the IK Eye Of Terror detachment, I also have in stock 2 Armingers and One Castellan. More than enough for all these macines and even a God of War.

 

For Leaders and Heroes/Psykers, I am still short of models though

I hereby anticipate July, knowing that due to heat conditions I will not paint anything for the next days up to end of the month. Paint dries too fast on the brush and pots end solid...

 

Anyway, as a "Leader and Heroes" entry, I will pledge a Knight Castellan. This beast has the "Character" keyword, so I imagine it works fine?

 

 

Still plenty of work to do before reaching the painting stage. And as cement glue dries as fast as paint, subassembly will not resume before Sunday of Monday next, as the weather forecast indicates a trend to potential cool down these days.
