So far it seems like marines are going to get totally outdone in terms of model quality this edition because every single new ork kit is just great, they knocked it out of the park with this update. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice model and I’ll likely end up turning it into a generic Mega-Armored Warboss at some point, but that’s kind of the problem - it doesn’t say Nazdreg to me. It’s just a big Ork in Mega-Armor. Still, tho, glad to see the big yellow galoot show up in the game again. Now we just need Zagstruk and Badrukk to round out the classic Ork characters in plastic. I kind of agree to be honest, I was expecting him to be a lot more 'tackishly blinged out' befitting da biggest Bad Moon rather than a better posed Big Mek in Mega Armour. I think it's a great model for a Warboss... he's just not a great Nazdreg to my eye (but still pretty decent). Agree 100%, his gun needed to be much bigger and snazzier. When I think (or modern styled) Nazdreg, I think of this conversion: I think this model is great, minus the fur, but it's not a very rich, ostentatious ork. Rules aren't very corpulent in their theme. He's just a hard nosed taskmaster, which is disappointing. I do agree he feels a little bit plain for Nazdreg, but I do appreciate that he's relatively restrained compared to a lot of character models (named or otherwise) we've gotten. I feel a flashier paintjob and some very minimal konvershun work could get him looking Nazdreg-ier. The tactical rocks have gotta go, otherwise I dig him. Also he reminds me quite a bit of the old official conversion from 4E?
