Bonus plastic Titan mention in the video for that rumour.

The release of the Thunderhawk Impact Site is still a way off in the future, but before then you can catch a few shots of it in the upcoming Codex: Space Marines. Speaking of which, we have a few more reveals for the Angels of Death landing later today, so pop back in a few hours!

Now, does this mean they have a cad file for a 40k sized thunderhawk lying around then since that would have been the best way to make this terrain?

Also, for what it's worth, I thought the reveal of the Aeronautica Imperialis plastic thunderhawk was funnier.

Probably a way to point out that we (as a community of addicted players and collectors) are taking too seriously too many topics about GW products and releases....

It is a slightly mean joke, but the terrain kit is nice. I've always liked wreck terrain for some reason.

The big question is how much it will cost and/or what it might come bundled with, if anything.

I'm not so sure on this one.

I quite like the cockpit and the wing in the air but other than the cockpit it doesn't scream downed Thunderhawk and only the wing really blocks line of sight that much, it all feels rather flat.

dunno if it´s constant scale creep nowdays plagued upon 40k, but this looks such a half measure and way too small, that it´´s almost better as free stl at this point.

But GW being GW gonna ask you atleast 60dollaroos

I love it and it's brilliant to see GW going back to making terrain kits that aren't just yet another ruined building or gothic industrial gubbins. Give me hope of a) more like this and b) Exodite Jungle Terrain in the future.

Well done GW you got me, the squeal of joy at the headline followed by the cursing has caused strange looks at work that will probably require some form of explanation.

All grudges aside it looks nice and I'd imagine infanetly easier to work with than the old Forge World tiles.

My now 20?+ Year wait for a plastic thunderhawk shall continue.

Might look better scaled in Heresy games I guess?

It is very nice set and probably the only sensible way to use Thunderhawk in 40K. It doesn't seem to match their terrain layout guidelines super well though. I wish GW would release some alternatively shaped terrain area footprints with official seal of approval, as people tend to take the official layout shapes way too seriously and insist they must be exactly like shown in the GW provided map.

Ah, got me. I'll still buy it though. Truthfully, I am more likely to buy a crashed one than a complete one - even if it were cheaper than the resin a proper plastic thunder hawk would likely be eye-wateringly expensive.
