Since the emperor and Malcador discuss how they meet in one novel I think it is just nonsense. You have to set down the rose tinted glasses for a moment. A little suspension of belief is required to see the inner workings. My bad for not going into detail. Apparently this isn't a new theory? Either way I thought it was neat. It's not required for anything I'm doing with 40k, but maybe when I'm bored I'll post a mock up later.
