Morticon
My final day of tournament play was spent at the privately organized Chumpionship tournament for members of another message board who had flown in from all over the country/world. After two days of serious competition against strangers, it was nice to lie back, relax, and play purely for fun with friends and acquaintances. I won all three games,...... You sure about that. Last I checked we went 20-20 for BP ^_^ :P 2wins and a draw if I remember correctly ^_^

Koyote
We're still 2 tied games. I dont count games that get cancelled 3 turns in due to time Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I submit to you Exhibit A. This is a photo of the aforementioned game between Morticon and myself, taken during the weekend of Adepticon 2008. If you look at the left side of the photo, you will notice that the Turn die in the crater indicates the number four. So while Morticon is telling the truth that our game ended prematurely, due to no fault of our own, Morticon is not being truthful about the number of turns we played. Consequently, one must ask, if Morticon is not being truthful about this this game between he and I, why should you believe his account of our second game? Clearly this man is a liar and a scoundrel. The truth of the matter is that he 0-2 against me and the might of Task Force Armageddon. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/babolter.gif Exhibit A http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/ExhibitA.jpg  :) :P

JamesI
I wish I had just turned around from my game against Seahawk and watched the end of the game between the two of you on Sunday. Eye witness to the battle. But I didn't. The few times I glanced over it looked like a great game, but I can't tell you who won as I didn't see. Koyote
Every game against Morticon is a great game. You couldn't ask for a more challenging yet courteous and fun person to play against. Just don't tell him that I said so. I don't want to inflate his ego. :)
Koyote
Like many of my fellow Adepticon attendees I was painting up to the very last minute. Consequently, I didn't get a chance to add any weathering or paint chipping to my Stormraven. Nonetheless, I think it turned out fairly well. Eye witness to the battle. But I didn't. The few times I glanced over it looked like a great game, but I can't tell you who won as I didn't see. Here is a photo of me defeating Morticon. That's me in the background, wearing the red and black bowling shirt. If Jarred and Wadders weren't in the way, you would see Morticon, collapsed on the floor, nearly drowning in a pool of his own tears. Poor-poor pathetic Morticon. :whistling:  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/OwlandMoonGuy/Adepticon%202011/11-Chumps2.jpg

That probably would have required me to turn around from killing Seahawk's Terminators.

That probably would have required me to turn around from killing Seahawk's Terminators. Being a very courteous person, Morticon made sure not to make too big of a ruckus. Consequently, his sobs were very quiet and hard to hear over the roar of the room. Plus, after collapsing onto the floor, he crawled under the table to hide his shame. It's no wonder you didn't see or hear him.
Emperors Immortals
Wow, allegations of improper conduct, tears and outright lies - the thread has turned into a Tom Wolfe novel! 1Drop
You have a really individual style of painting, so vibrant. I'm wondering how you do your assault marine helmets, the red detail on them looks so good!?

Jorre
Awsome storm raven man, really impressed. Is there any chance you could take a better photo of you underslung assault cannon I'd love to see how you did that, I'm trying to do a similar thing myself. I think it makes more sense for the second turrent to be mounted underneath the gunship
Koyote
Is there any chance you could take a better photo of you underslung assault cannon I'd love to see how you did that, I'm trying to do a similar thing myself. I think it makes more sense for the second turrent to be mounted underneath the gunship The circular cap I used for the turret's base comes from the Valkyrie kit. It is part of the Valkyrie's multiple rocket pod assembly. The second circular cap in the photo is for identification purposes only -it is not part of the assembly. The assault cannons come from Landspeeder kits. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/AC1.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/AC2.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/AC3.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/AC4.jpg

Koyote
No out-of-the-box Aegis Defense Line Quad-Gun for this guy. ;) http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/quadgun1.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/quadgun2.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/quadgun3.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/quadgun4.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i200/10011970/New/quadgun5.jpg The chassis still needs some work, but it's complete enough to give you an idea of what the finished product will look like. I plan to do some work on the Aegis Defense Line as well.
