wow this is one awesome little force

love the ultramarine commander, and the land speeder is looking great, pale skin suits such a dark armour colour (and come on, marines normally are wearing there helmets anyway, so there hardly gonna get nice golden tans during battle)

thanks

I honestly don't know.lol

My Chapter IS the Deathwatch.Their Chapters of origin just flesh them out.

But I was hoping I could ask everyone here a question...

It seems as of late I'm getting bombarded with comments along the lines of my Strikeforce not being "fluffy",which saddens me to no end. :D

So what is your opinion?Would multiple DW kill-teams ever work in unison like mine do?

I think these people are really missing the point - for a start the army is incredibly cool looking which is why I imagine you started the project in the first place.

Secondly, I don't see why there wouldn't be occassions where death watch teams work together. For example, multiple deathwatch teams have been mobilised across planet x to counter a disturbing number of genestealer cults. Before they manage to close in on their prey, a massive hive fleet emerges into orbit around the planet, and the deathwatch kill teams now have a new objective to defend the planet's major starport from tyranid forces making planetfall and to allow as many of the planet's popluace to escape.

I'm sure there are other equally plausible explanations, but at the end of the day, the most important thing is that you have a cool and unique army

Aah, but IF you where to have another chapter, what would thier colors be?

And where can you get those nifty death watch marines?

And I really believe that your army is fluffy and all! Seeing as it holds marines from dozen of differnt chapters, all with thier own and dark history really gives your deathwatch army a cool background to lay back on!

well i always thought that the death-watch operated like a normal capter, exept, without the normal chain of command and recruiting process.

and to be honest, how much do we really KNOW about the death-watch's orginisation?

it doesnt really matter, 'cus you gots one hell of a cool army on your hands and THATS all that really matters. (IMO)

The normal MO of the Deathwatch seems to be small teams reinforcing other imperial armies or even working alone with only inquisitorial support. In the Eisenhorn novels (Eisenhorn is Ordo Xenos after all) there are DW marines working as individuals with inquisitors during a large strike at... well I won't say where. :P However, I think a large force of Deathwatch marines is more likely than a large force of Grey Knights since aliens are a more common threat, since we see Grey Knight armies all the time then why not?

Personally I'd like to see some inquisitors and storm troopers as well since the inquisitors are supposed to be running the show but I suppose they could be in orbit somewhere giving orders. You should convert a Ravenor figure and put him next to the table, claiming that he is the general :D

*Picks up Brother Viktor of the Silver Skulls*

I better get back to painting then! :D

@Brother apocalyptic:I haven't the faintest idea what Chapter I'd use (except my Nightlords! :D ).

I'll come up with a bloke from a DIY and PM him to you. ^_^

@hack_n_slash:Feel free to do so,but Tyr and Jarl are taken.

*Runs to get the Twins copywrited* ;)

Hey Danek I think those people who say your army isnt "fluffy" should eat their own foot because that is a stupid comment. Anyone who says a deathwatch marine isnt fluffy is really stupid.

............Anyways I was wondering if you had a crimson fist in there, and if not could you put one in there and name it after me?

Thanks
