I bring you the AHG Paint-a-thon. This is a Paint-a-thon to get a 1500pts army done by Baltimore Gamesday. By the looks of it, I can get it all done. This is a thread the monitor my progress. Things will be posted when they are completed. Not WIP.++ ++Updates 5-10-06: I have gotten about 25% of the Devastators done right now. I am going to have to keep this pace on them or I am not going to be able to make it. I will try my hardest, and my hardest is what I will try. xD++ Updates 5-9-06: Jesus, it is getting close. I found out that I am going to be leaving for GD on Friday so I will be missing a day of painting. Which sucks. I am now down to two days of painting that I can get done. xD Oh well. I will try and get as much done as I can here. Also, new things added, check it out. :3 Updates 5-8-06: Well, I have been working off and on on the project. Not much more needs to really be done. I finished up Brother Captain Fearus a few nights ago, I love how he turned out. Pictures of him and new pictures of Tactical Squad III will be up by tommarrow night. :3 I just have to finish up the Predator tonight and then I will have 4 days to paint the Devastator Squad. Gamesday is coming, and it is coming fast! Updates 5-5-06: Alrighty, tonight has been purely deticated to sitting on my butt and working on the captain. He is nearly done, I just have to do his Bolt Pistol arm and his Jump Pack. After that, he is done. Squad III's pictures turned out awful. Come to think of it now, I am going to do all the touch up and such to them tonight so I can get that out of the way and leave tommarow for working on the Devastators. It is a funny thing, a personal goal. Before I started painting in mass amounts like I have been lately, I used to think painting one model was a pain. Now I am painting one model and I am suprized to see how fast it is going! Updates 5-4-06: Hurray! Brownie points for Alpha! I got a squad done last night, I finished them about 5:20 am last night, and I couldn't be happier. A meer 10 models and a Predator to go. If I pump out the 9 man Devastator Squad in 4 days, and get the Captain done in two, that will give me three entire days to do the Predator, and it is already 25% done. Wonderful! I am going to make it! Updates 5-3-06: Ugh, when I came home from school today, I went and slept for about 3 and a half hours. This puts me behind painting a lot. I am going to have to do an almost all nighter. I will be up till about 4-5 am getting this squad done. But when I do, I will have limited what I have to do for this week mostly. After I am done with this squad, I am going to work on a Predator I have. Today is the last day of having double diget numbers in the countdown to Gamesday. I better hurry... Updates 5-2-06: The painting is going well, this is also the first day of the thread being open and all with all of it's contents. I am quite proud, I must say of all of the things I have done in the past week. The week before I did all of the Assault Brothers, and the Chaplain in 6 days. SIX DAYS. By tonight I hope to have the entire 3rd Tactical Squad done, and right now it looks like it is going to happen, just as long as I stay up VERY late tonight. Like 5 am late. Anyways. He played the next day and got slaughtered by a Libby which is to be expected considering he is going before me and has a Force Weapon. Oh well, the Battle Brother with the powerfist finished the Libby. :3 Well, brothers and sisters. I don't think I am going to be able to get the pictures up tonight, sadly. I still have much painting to do and I can't spend another hour trying to get the damn things to work. They were done almost a year ago, they were VERY good for their time. xD I really don't care right now. I don't have the extra time to go back and paint the metals on them again. They are table-top, no? I have made a bunch of progress with the Tactical Squad I was working on. I have done all the black, and all the metals on them. If you bumped me while I was painting him, I would have considered seeing what your organs look like outside of your body. </3 xD Tactical Squad III has reached it's stopping point for the night. I am ill and I am very tired. Right now they have gotten their first coat of orange on them, it is not at the fullness I like, but it is the first coat of the first color. My guess is that there is still another 2 coats to do, maybe more. No matter, a lot has been acomplished today. Their black was finished, and their orange was started. They might take another day, two at the most. Things are going slower because of me being sick. Night all, this is the last update for May 2nd work. Tommarrow is another day. I may hate painting the stuff, but it looks so sweet when I am done. Updates have been added to the update section, and I am not going to be up all night, just most of it. xD Oh well. Ahh, another stalker of the AHG. Wonderful. xD Glad to see a fan. :3 The marines are done, and I just earned another 20 bucks to go to GD with. Washing me madre's car was just oodles of fun.
