I'd like to introduce Contemptor Dreadnought Avonis, formerly of the Steel Confessors.

A few details here, got a scroll for his name, a mechanicus symbol as he's a former techmarine, various cables and bionic esque pieces, the furor shield symbol on his left knee and an inquisition shield on the right knee. He's magnetised for a few options. Lascannons, assault cannons, power fists and cyclone missile launcher.

Also provided a close up of the steel confessors symbol

I've been working on finishing off most of the units in my army that have been victims of frenzied '3-color minimum' painting sessions before GTs.

Today these two venerable brothers finally got the respect they deserve.  (well... one of them.  The other hasn't ever seen a tabletop, you guess as to which).

These two I finished last week.

Indeed, love the UM dreadnoughts! I'm a huge fan of the levi too.

I love the added armour trim on the Leviathan, may I ask how you did those? Do you perhaps have some WIP shots of the Levi unpainted (that you can direct me to, as WIP shots are VERBOTEN on this thread)?

I think that leviathan is Carab Culln, the Red Scorpions' unique dreadnought character, he's quite popular as conversion material.

@ Cruor Vault: you mind sharing your blue recipe? The tone looks more akin to the old ultramarine blue then the macragge blue which is standard nowadays. Are the edge highlights fenris grey? They look more akin to grey or white then turquoise / teal.

White looks to be layered upon a light grey (Vallejo ghost grey/wolf grey?)

Dread looks superclean and nice, would appreciate some insight how you got your colours as I have a FW Leviathan incoming and thus im looking online for references and idea's.

Edit Cruor Vault contacted responded to my request of the recipe through PM. Thanks to him my bank account has gone down by 900 euro's so lets see if we can imitate his skills . Thanks for your advice Cruor

Can we please stop quoting pics to comment on them? It creates an annoying wall of pictures that have already been shown and serves no actual purpose. Just write "@Fratersoandso: that's a cool dread."  or whatever and everyone will also know about which dread you're talking.... :tu:

Sorry. Pet peeve. :)
