Showcase: Post your Dreadnoughts

Since I started my Exorcists project and got my transfers there's a specific Dread I've been tossing around in my head. Finally got around to making it this week.

Just finished my Sons of Horus HQ contemptor for Fury of the Ancients rite of war. Converted from the new plastic contemptor from the age of darkness boxset, loads more pictures in progress on my log in the WIP forum.

Finally managed to finish my Chonkmeister that I had assembled back in 8th edition. The gun isn't glued on and I can change it when I get around painting the plasma gun. It was a lot of edge highlights, but overall, it was pretty fun and I'm really happy to get it done.

Not sure if the Invictus counts as a dread, so added an extra Leviathan to make sure

My latest contemptor for the mighty World Eaters - this one from the Heresy box set. 

 

He will stand alongside my existing forge world number and a yet unbuilt one from the new box.

 

The ranged weapon connector is suitably snug that I haven't magnetized the weapons, they're friction fit. Gives a bit of flexibility but think I'll probably run autocannons predominantly. Now I have the new boxed contemptor I plan to make up the other weapon options just in case I fancy running a plasma cannon or even a conversion beamer?! The FW one has multi-melta and fist and the new one will be fist + chainfist...
