Interests
I love the 40K fluff. At times it is better than the game itself. I also enjoy modeling & converting. It is my goal to have a converted true scale Space Wolf army, and a nicely painted normal scale Ultramarine army.
I also dabble in Xenos. No one's perfect after all! ^_^ -

Aside from the new models, what are good all Primaris choices for a Templars force? I have just about everything that’s been released, just waiting to be built. What are your favorite Primaris units for Templars?

I found the original painters blog for this scheme. It’s in French but goes through the painting and background info. http://leskouzes.blogspot.com/2017/10/son-of-phoenix.html?m=1 -
Looks like I'm placing an order! Thank you.

I've been looking at those. I'm thinking at least 50. Maybe much more

It's going to be next payday before I can grab the codex, but how many pox walkers would I need for an army led by Typhus? Forgive me if this has been covered, but I'm just planning the most efficient use of my hobby dollars. Thank you.

Hi all. I'm building up my forces since the launch of 8th. I want to go full Primaris, and I currently have the Dark Millennium boxed set, the Primaries Heroes, a Redemptor, a Repulser, a box of Rievers, Aggressors, Inceptors, Intersessors, and Hellblasters. What more do I need to acquire to build towards a good 2000 point list? I also have Robby-G painted up, so he can join the fun when needed too. I've read all the Primaris related threads and pursued the army lists to get some ideas. I'm not the most competitive player. I enjoy building and painting more, but being able to hold my own would be nice. Thanks for the help everyone.

Terminators, loadout and tactic advice needed!

For the Catphracts, is the chain fist the best option now with the storm bolter? That seems to be my perception. -
My vow shall go unfulfilled. My Primaris captain met his fate to the titanic feet special rule, my titanic foot as I did not know he had been knocked off the desk, I spun my desk chair, put my foot down to stand up, heard a sickening crack. Broke the arms, legs, and sword... And he never got to see combat in the name of the emperor and the Primarch! (That and I'm out the $$$ to replace him. >_<)

Back-field with grapnel hooks is my leading choice right now. They can wreck havoc with a chaplain near by, but that's tough to get some times.

http://i.imgur.com/sThqtX7.jpg This is what I'm getting with the spray. I'm generally not a fan of rattle cans, bit the color is so strong and the finish is nice. I've been searching for a high light color to airbrush.

I'm continually in the same boat. I'm not a big fan of edge high lights. I'm having decent luck with the McCragge blue spray, but proper high lights evade me...
-
There's a lot of hoards in my gaming area, 'Nids, IG, Ad Mech, etc. I'm thinking the twin Gatling guns will be my most useful option right now.

I agree they're a a blast to build. http://i.imgur.com/M4fHJTQ.jpg It looks like a proper war machine. I too found the weapons to be a snug fit making swapping easier. I want another.

I don't recall seeing robe color mentioned when I read through the codex last night. From a hobbyist stand point, I'd say do what pleases you. Seeing that picture from WD is almost enough to make me paint mine as 3rd company for the fun of it.
