Heya Virginia folks-- a new hobby store is opening in Alexandria (soft open was today with a grand opening expected in July). "Your Hobby Place" on Facebook- they bought the business license and a lot of the assets from Eagle and Empire which shuttered its doors in q4 2021. I wasn't able to get a super detailed look around as they were still setting things up- but the shop floor is pretty big, Id imagine theyll be able to get several game tables in there come opening day.

Pretty par for the course at this point though isn't it? Tau commanders, ork warbosses and a couple other armies have similar rules at this stage.

Honestly contact customer service-- they might be sympathetic and be willing to send a replacement out

Definitely one pad. 2 pads adds unnecessary bulk to an otherwise nimble/lithe sculpt and pose. Think ballet dancer not pro-footballer

Not sure where to post these, but I have a couple odd questions regarding the templars- from a visual design perspective. Is it just the crusader squads and sword brethren that have the chained weapons-- or are units like intercessors, aggressora, inceptors, etc.and the like *technically* supposed to have them too? When it comes to tilt shields on pauldrons-- are those just painted as the crusade badge or does the marine get to emblazon it with their own heraldry? Thanks!

I wish I had the time, energy and inclination to put all the models I painted in 2021 on the table for a group shot but that was close to 300 models... I need to be better about vowing on this forum-- too many social medias to juggle haha

Is there a optimal loadout for warrior brood troops in the crusher stampede list? Have to admit, im very intrigued by this return of Nidzilla style army composition but have little knowledge of what warriors should be kitted for

Well in 2021 I got 268 40k models/13k+ points of models painted-- so I want to break 300 models at least this year? That might be a bit ambituous but so am I, haha
