Ok, I haven’t forgotten about this, just been a little busy. 

So I did two more training CP bouts. I got to use the Medusan Reboubt against the Vanghast Swarm. Not much to it, the turrets took out the psychophage pretty much turn one and the heavy intercessors held their own against the rest of the swarm. I split the squad into two squads of five and sent them to take the two no-man land objectives. One group took the charge from the leapers and held. The other held their own against the Prime. Both then shot the termaguants into oblivion.

The second game I used the Vanghast Swarm against the Eyes of Ultramar. This one I lost due to points as he grabbed objectives early and I couldn’t catch up. They got lucky on the rolls for the grenade launchers and wiped out one of the termaguant units while the leapers and psychophage moved down the field. Taking out the reivers, bladeguard and later the intercessors lead by Tigurius.

Honestly after I took out a Prime with HI I should have known better.

I also managed to add another CP to the list. After a megabattle event at my FLGS there was a prize drawing which I won a pick of some kits. That being Subatan Khan, so the StormLance Hunters CP is now in the list.  I’m not doing it as White Scars as I already have a White Scars force (the contents of Leviathan). So had locals pick some numbers and used that to determine the Chapter. Which will be 9th company of the Storm Warriors. 

On other works, got the other five deathriders and the krieg HW squad sprayed so I can start painting those up. Once those are done I can at least field a painted set of Death Korps Combat Platoon and Drayden’s Lance. At least if I proxy the deathriders as rough riders. 

I will state that I hope most if not all of the CPs stay with the change to 11th. We’ll see in a few months.
