Issues...?

So, got back from RMO (went 2-4, a personal best in a 30+ player tournament- I am never good in tournaments) and decided to start on my Nightbringer conversion. Tell me if you can figure out the issue -

So. My original idea of using one of the Convergence of Dominion steles to be the base and put a Purple Sun of Shyish on top of it is probably not going to work. I don't really see a way to make the full stele work as basing material and at this point I think cutting it down wouldn't accomplish what I wish. I do, however, have the Purple Sun and the old-school scarabs (pic below), so I think just those and the 3d-printed puzzle bits will make the conversion work even without the stele.

So the next couple of days I will be building the Purple Sun and measuring to make sure it is as close to the official Nightbringer as I can make it. Then I'll see if it will look alright just how it is or if I need to make some more changes. That's all for right now, I'm waiting for some HH pieces to make more of the NL/WB army and also some Deathwing Companions to make into modern Inner Circle Companions for my Primaris.

Edit- The basic idea is there, need to greenstuff all the gaps and heatgun some minor warping, but I think it can work. Looks like with the top "blackstone" bit I will only need to up-base the Nightbringer by about an inch, which is easily done with my Necron basing scheme (rocks work wonders).

I love the idea the Nightbringer not being Humanoid. Reminds me of the Ultimate Evil from Fifth Element.

I like having the majority of my C'tan being less than human- the only two humanoid types are my Void Dragon that uses the AoS Craven King and a Transcendent C'tan that uses the Lady Olynder. AoS Death faction provides a lot of my C'tan, it turns out.
