The Nightbringer is built

Managed to build the Nightbringer on his base and greenstuff the gaps despite suffering from Nurgle's Blessing the last two days. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out- the Purple Sun is such a cool model and I think it will make a statement on the table. As a bonus, I guess I get a Convergence of Dominion stele, which will probably never see the tabletop because it is not good.

Next up for hobbying I'm getting in a full set of Deathwing Companions from the Heresy to use as Inner Circle Companions for 40k. Those and some other HH stuff to round out my CSM, a squad of WB Chosen and NL Legionaries, will be the last board-appropriate stuff I'll be working on. I do have some AoS Flesh-Eater Courts stuff also coning in because I want to work on my painting of skin/fur, but I will not be showing that here obviously. That stuff is also a ways away from happening, as I will be finishing up painting my Votann (this month!) and starting on getting my CSM on the painting table.

We'll see how the painting turns out- don't really have an idea yet on how the Nightbringer should be painted. I will paint the puzzle pieces similar to my silver Necrons, with creeping rust coming from where they are touching the C'tan, signifying that it is corrupting them and escaping, but I don't really know how I want the main body to be colored.
