This is a pre-finished pic of a pair of Hydras from Forgeworld that I got about 1999, and finished in 2013.

I am using the Salt-and-Hairspray method for speed, as these were to go up on ebay.

Base caot was black, sponged on three colors of rust, brown, tan and orange. Sprayed with hairspray and coated with corse salt grains. Red overcoat with yellow and black warning stripes. Fast pass with a toothbrush and hot water to remove salt and then light brush with rust powder and metallic details.

They didn't go for as much as I wanted, only about 35/45$. Only one had a carriage, forgeworld was out of stock at the time.
