    A lot of this stuff just sounds like typical office drama. I don't get why it always has to equal Games Workshop being a toxic hellhole. I cringe a bit when Peachy and others go on and on about management problems as if many companies don't have the same issues. Also though, I absolutely live for this kind of gossip so keep it coming, I lap it up.

    Respectfully disagree. The new Combat Patrols are a lot more infantry heavy for the most part. I believe it's an attempt to make Combat Patrol a better game mode. If you really believe their plan is to make them less useful for players I don't know what to tell you. I'm becoming so numb to internet hyperbole. Our CP is not great imo, I would much prefer a box with sword brethren than an impulsor.

    I will be starting something new in the next couple of months. I will start with a combat patrol and a couple of infantry boxes. In the past I've always seen 1000 points as the first goal, then 1,500, then 2,000.

    What steps do you take before starting a new army project? Is it on a whim or do you do it at a particular time of year or the start of a new edition (as examples)? Do you write a list before you buy? Do you buy a combat patrol and start from there? How about choosing factions / colour schemes? I'm interested to see how people approach a big project / hobby investment.

    Does the Dark Angels combat patrol have the upgrade sprue? I think there's next to no chance that stays in the BT box. Also, a lot of hate on some of the new boxes, I actually prefer most of them.

    The game is great, but everytime my connection dips it kicks me out. Being online only really killed it for me.

    I built a 5 man squad with heavy bolter. I built the models with combi-weapons, just because that's how I always picture sternguard. In game I would go with the sternguard bolters. Sergeant has a power fist because it's bad ass. They're not a bad unit, they won't win you the game but they look great and they can get work done. I almost can't believe some of the earlier posts in this thread, sorry you got math-hammered without asking for it. You must feel violated.

    Sounds like a financial issue to me. It seems like Patrick is the one putting the hours in, filming, editing and managing the channels, and he probably takes the lion's share of the money. It's a big loss with Peachy leaving though, I much prefer watching Peachy and Geoff than Geoff and Patrick.

    They also need to look cool, and the Mega armor war boss and Gravis captain are super cool, they would definitely appeal to me if I was a new player.

    I'll be back from work quite late, but I might get going with something. I wanted to join last year but work ruled it out.

    Paint application has improved so much since the line launched. The Heresy line is going to be hard to resist. A full Primarch collection would be quite a display.

    Primaris Astorath on a beautiful scenic base like Helbrecht! I want a dedicated Blood Angels Terminator kit, new Sanguinary Guard and I absolutely want a new Death Company kit with all the options. I want DC to have hyper aggressive dynamic poses, tearing forward towards the nearest bad / poor Imperial Guardsman who took a wrong turn. An upgrade sprue would be disservice in my opinion.

    If GW wanted to work with a company like Threezero or Blitzway to produce 1/6 scale figures I would be very interested, but they don't seem interested. So I bought this. How unethical of me.
