So this thread has been a long time coming..... As begin the preparations to move into my new home slowly start, I have intentions of returning to model building and painting in the upcoming new year. Edit- So over the past few months of this threads creation there has been highs and lows. Issues with house, work and other things have caused a slow down of building and painting. Recently I have been able to build alot of models for my Grey knights and hopefully by the end of 2022, I will have the army all built.... Edit 11/26/2024- I continue plodding along with my Grey Knights along with other elements of the strike force ranging from Inquisition (Ordo Malleus), Imperial Navy (Inquisition Black Ship Crew), and Adeptus Mechanicus from Forgeworld Deimos. And this is before the other Ordo Heretics and Ordo Xenos plus the Inquisition Support (Militarum Tempestus, Adeptus Arbites, and Adepta Sororitas). I have some plans for 2025 so stay tuned. Edit 05/14/2025 - I am switching to 1st Brotherhood as I have a tons of Armor for my Grey Knights. 1st Brotherhood ("The Swordbearers") - Grand Master Wilhelm De Sonnac commands the 1st Brotherhood with William De Harcourt as its Brother-Captain. De Sonnac is the Chapter's Steward of the Armoury, his brotherhood is often called upon when the Grey Knights require large numbers of Stormravens or Land Raiders, and it contains many of the finest pilots and drivers of the Chapter. De Sonnac oversees the war machines of the Grey Knights and the Techmarines that maintain them, ensuring that they remain in perfect fighting condition. If the wards upon a Rhino are imperfect or the engines of a Stormraven less than pristine, it is to De Sonnac that a battle-brother must answer. Current group shot of completed models.
