So this thread has been a long time coming..... As begin the preparations to move into my new home slowly start, I have intentions of returning to model building and painting in the upcoming new year. Edit- So over the past few months of this threads creation there has been highs and lows. Issues with house, work and other things have caused a slow down of building and painting. Recently I have been able to build alot of models for my Grey knights and hopefully by the end of 2022, I will have the army all built.... Edit 11/26/2024- I continue plodding along with my Grey Knights along with other elements of the strike force ranging from Inquisition (Ordo Malleus), Imperial Navy (Inquisition Black Ship Crew), and Adeptus Mechanicus from Forgeworld Deimos. And this is before the other Ordo Heretics and Ordo Xenos plus the Inquisition Support (Militarum Tempestus, Adeptus Arbites, and Adepta Sororitas). I have some plans for 2025 so stay tuned. This Brotherhood is known for its rapid deployment and swift strikes, making large use of Interceptor Squads and Strike Squads. Using mass teleportation tactics to outmaneuver their foes and create a beachhead for heavier troops to follow, the 2nd is often in the vanguard of Grey Knights assaults. The Grand Master of the 2nd, Admiral of the Grey Knights Fleet, excels at the art of maneuver and deployment. He relies heavily on the Prognosticars to provide him with vital tactical information. In addition The Brotherhood, under its Grand Master who bares the title Admiral of the Fleet, oversees the Grey Knights space fleet.. As Admiral, the Grand Master of the 2nd ensures the rapid deployment of the Grey Knights to a warzone. With the predictions of the Prognosticars providing him vital information, the Grey Knights fleet is often able to deliver strike forces to the battlefield before the foe has even arrived.
