Greetings to you all! I have for many a year been plucking away in the WIP thread, but as most of the things I put there are actually finished by the time I post, I thought it a bit more apt to have a thread here as well - and as there is not far from though to action, thus it is done now. The aim of this thread is for me to post pictures of the various B&C permissable armies that I usually work on and the units belonging to them, which I finish. Currently, I have the following armies in my possession: Dark Angels (1st, 2nd and Battle Company) - about 5000 points total Chaos Space Marines (Death Guard, World Eaters, Black Legion & Fallen Angels) - about 4500 points Chaos Daemons (Tzeentch, Nurgle & Khorne) - about 3000 points Imperial Guard allies (Death Korps of Krieg) - about 400 points Grey Knight allies - about 400 points Tyranids - about 8000 points As you can see, there is plenty of potential for varied things to be shown and displayed here - and I look forward to sharing with you all. Start for February 2026 12 Months of Hobby. -
Hi, Chainsword Cookie here. I have been lurking around the corner for some time until I have decided to join the fray and start anew with this new edition. Honestly I was unsure which force to pick and this is my first proper foray into the Warhammer 40k universe, but Chaos it is. Death to the False Emperor! My hobby experience so far comes from reading the Black Library books, playing various GW skirmish games and from time to time playing a game with my friends armies. I think it is high time that I begin an army of my own. It is nigh impossible to resist to the lure of the new Warhammer 40k edition and the new Chaos models, it's influence is corrupting. So here we go. I Chainsword Cookie, a newly minted Chaos Lord (and hopefully not a soon to be Chaos Spawn), shall build myself a new Chaos army. The owner of the store were I go for my Warhammer fix told me that there will be a campaign during this summer and we will get points for painted stuff so I will try my best to keep the pace. Howdy folks, getting back into the swing of things for 8th and the Legion War is the perfect motivation! I snagged a very nice Atropos knight that I am in the process of strapping dead bodies to and covering with rust, all in the name of Papa Nurgle. Will likely post other things here when I finish, hence the other tags. Any and all tips and critiques are welcome! If the photos are execrable, I apologize in advance. This is about a week old or so. http://i.imgur.com/YxLkByz.jpg Spiky Bits all over the carapace. Need to magnetize this so it can lift off without too much wear on the paint. I am not sure there are enough spikes. Is it clear this thing is a Chaos Knight? http://i.imgur.com/7Yr5bVH.jpg Disassembled body, shoulders and weapons. Added mandibles to make it look a bit more sinister and insectile. http://i.imgur.com/K5OKm6S.jpg Control panel, cracked and useless... which is fine because the pilot can't read. I am very not good at detail work, might be a symptom of my limited color palette. http://i.imgur.com/C92Kaoa.jpg Mummified (mostly) dead fella at the controls. I used bits from the corpse cart and wedged 'em in there, and I am glad I am a traitor because a good chunk of the left armrest had snapped off in shipping. http://i.imgur.com/7udahEm.jpg Legs, with rust and an additional friend hanging around. I am pretty proud of the rust- made my own in an oiler bottle using bleach and white vinegar. The effect is authentic enough but it creates a bit of chlorine gas as a byproduct. That is ok though- you can't dedicate a project to Nurgle without a bit of poison fumes wafting about! Seriously though, good ventilation is key. http://i.imgur.com/zqEiM2h.jpg And bonus is a little kitbashed daemon prince. I need to clean up/disguise his GUO elbow as well as that vox sitting on his back, and probably mess with the DE masks to make them more 'Plague Garden' and less 'Commorragh' but you get the idea.

This is thread I am going to show what I am doing in the hobby, and what I have done. It will be all Chaos related, mostly Iron Warriors which is my main army, but also some Death guard, in an Iron warrior scheme, some depraved daemons, and the odd knight or two. While most will occur in this forum, other related topics are bound to spring up elsewhere, especially in the Forge forums. Just making this thread as a place to speculate on what may be coming in the future of 10th Ed for Daemons. Stuff like detachments in the Codex, new Models/Units, etc. -
Raging Heroes - Vanvyssah The link for these can be found here. She is a suitable proxy for a Chaos Daemon Herald of Slaanesh. She was part of the TGG2 Kickstarter so I can't comment on any normal delivery time or packaging (feel free to let me know in the replies and I'll update this bit with delivery info, etc). However, this is how she turned up (and with a 25 mm round bases): Bag: On to the models, there's some flash as expected with resin. Detail is crisp and you can see evidence of the circular mould technique they use: Front: Back: Next up are a few individual shots showing points of interest.
