Blood Angels veteran I painted a couple of years ago. Though my main army is in Angels Sanguine scheme, this one was a nice distraction.

I like the black-to-turquoise power sword – makes a nice change from the blue-to-white you often see.

 

I demand moar!

Unfortunately this is the only marine I painted this style.

Although I have other stuff from my main army.

Hey folks. Relatively new to BnC having just started posting earlier this year. Started a WIP Flesh Tearers blog and just came to the realisation that perhaps I should have placed it amongst my fellow brethren of Sanguinius!

Some really cool conversions and amazingly painted miniatures here. Should have browsed through these threads earlier to draw from more sources of inspiration. Some really stunning painting from Luthermax, Flieger and claimh_solais, just to name a few that I have seen from only having browsed a few pages.

After reading about the Lamenters in IA9 I had to get some into my army so I'm thinking of doing one squad of some sort and a dread. Here's my test model for the scheme, was my first attempt at weathering and the 2nd model I've painted in 4 years since getting back into the hobby. Really happy with how it all turned out and I'm really excited to get some sternguard and the FW MKIV dread as a furioso for my army I've started building.
