Thanks to both of you.

So, the Terminators are finished up. It'll take some time until they see some paint, though. You already know Terminator 1 and the Sergeant from past posts, so here's the whole squad:

Terminator 2:

Terminator 3:

Terminator 4, aka "Big F-ing Reaper Autocannon Guy":

Next milestones: Get 5 more tac assault Marines finished (they're nearly done), paint the dreadnought (that'll be fun), convert 10 fire support tactical Marines with Bolter & chain bayonett, including:

1 x Sergeant – MK1“Thunder Suit“

1 x Heavy Gunner – MK3 “Iron Armour

Yay! Our local GW store sold out its bits box today, and as expected, I stayed there for almost 2 hours, picking out whatever I might need from this massive crate. The breakdown:

I'm a very happy little converter now.

Your stuff here is simply awesome. I did up a copy of your double axe and it looks awesome, thanks again for the idea. I think I like your stuff so much because your an "axe man" like me. (As your above pic proves). Keep up the awesomeness can't wait to see those termies finished.

@Rubberduck: Haven't had a look at the new CSM dex, at the moment I'm trying to pull it off with the SM dex and the latest White Dwarf BA one. Not sure yet which one to use.

@Corax: Glad you like- basically, the idea was to convert something contemporary and bad-ass out of that Space Crusade dread, as I really dig the model.

@Dutch: Thanks for all the "awesomes". :P Axes, the chain ones as well as the power thingies, are the ultimate World Eaters choice in my opinion. It gives them that extra touch of brutality, and I use them whereever I can.

No real progress except some minimal jobs on the second batch of 5 assault marines... Studying bites my ass at the moment. But I've set my finished work up as an army to get a more complete picture of how far I came until now, and got some motivation out of it. Thought you'd probably enjoy it, too.

Next painting milestones are still the 5 tacticals and the dread. In terms of converting, a jump pack command squad, 10 Bolter Marines, and 5 frenzied berzerkers ("Immortals", as I'll call them fluff-wise) are the next steps, so that I'll have a well playable army by then. The paintjob of the Terminators ("Praetorians") will have to wait, I want to do them justice after all, but I'm really looking forward to this one.

The result of some late-night converting fun: Venerable Gladiator Champion Proximo, my Company Champion count-as for the command squad, named after Oliver Reed's great movie character (rather based on his younger years). Also, my PH jumppack prototype- the upper exhausts seem a little malformed (came out while drying), I'll might put some more work into them... or just decide that it's nothing a good paintjob can't fix.

Just imagine him striking down from above, legionnaire shield first, wreaking havoc among his victims with his superior swordsman skills and sheer brutality...

Note that he's the only model in my army using a powersword for style reasons, and as far as I'm concerned, he'll stay the only one.

My World Eaters saw some action today at the local store, and boy, they royally kicked some loyalist butts... three games (2 of 750 pts against Dark Angels, one league game of 500 pts against Ultramarines), one draw, one close victory, and the total slaughter of that kid's Ultras. It's simply awesome how effective and lucky those scouts are... in the first game, they chopped three Bikes after redirecting their advance through occupation of terrain, and survived alongside with my captain to follow him into the final charge, wiping two more aussault marines. In the second, they overrun a small tactical squad and took an objective, again with minimal casualties, and in the third, they slaughtered two small tactical squads in some hardcore cityfight action and secured the opponent's dropzone.

In the 750 pts games, I just had to try out my terminators, four of them following my captain (sergeant model)... they appeared in the second turn of one game, taking heavy fire, and soon, only my Captain was left- But in the second game, they turned the tide in turn four, wrecking a Ravenwing squad plus Trike after some ranged casualties inflicted on the assault squad, and taking an objective marker.

My Ten man tactical squad with CCWs and furious charge disappointed during the first two games, both times being charged by assault marines led by a chaplain, although they did inflict some damage- but they took revenge on the virtaully same squad in the game against the Ultras, charging into battle and tearing them to pieces, also taking the loyalist's deployment zone. Good times!

So, in the end, it was time for a little reward- Couldn't resist as it was 30% off, and as I can very well use all of the models.

I wanted a rhino and bikes anyway, the standard CSMs will serve me well in converting my Devastators and Assault Squad, and I can't get enough khorne berzerker bits for conversions all around my army, so it was some well-spent money.

Everything's coming along nicely, and the termies look mean!

*I'll bet you get tired of kids at the GW store saying, "Are those Ultra Marines?"

Anyway, keep up the good work, and post closeups of the termies when you get some paint on them!

Thanks. :) Yeah, but there are some more educated ones who at least mix them up with White Scars, or ask why those Berzerkers are white... ;)

I sure will!

@BLARGAG: Currently, I'm playing them via Space Marine Dex, using "No Mercy, No Respite" and "Take The Fight To The Enemy". But I'm preparing to switch to the Blood Angel dex, if they plan to get rid of the traits in the next Codex. Thank you, greatly I appreciate it. ;)

@kanan: Thanks- You can find detailed pictures of the dread as text links in the very first post on the very first page, mate. Let's see if you can name the power fist parts. :)

Small update: I'm trying to work on my GS skills, as I suck at it and sticked to simple projects until now... this one's not too complex either, but after having so many fitting bits and being too lazy to sculpt anything on myself for a long time, I have to get into it again. This one's gona be my jumppack apothecarion.

Tried to imitate the look of the face mask one of my scouts has hanging on his belt- it's not great, but it's mine.

Also: Cats. Nivit (the darker one) and River. They're ours since the weekend, and I can't spend a night without having nightmares of them playing with my miniatures, at the moment... But I love cats, and now I have a good motivation to always keep my army sealed in boxes.

Basically, I've cut off most of the helmet area beneath his eyes (kinda grey knight-ish) and from the back of his head (to sink the head in really deep into the opening of the armor). Then, I've modeled a GS neckplate as high as just under his eyes... can't take pics right now, but if you don't know what I mean, I can do some tomorrow.
