Alrite Kikk!

As ever your Iron Hands are looking marvelous, love the BA techmarine conversion, i think that that is my favourite model out of the BA range and you have done it justice there! You do realise that now you have started using Plastic card you will NEVER go back... I ran out a couple of months back and for about 3 weeks i was a bit... sensitive (*read* mental) so went over to my hoby shop and bought enough to last me about 2 years so that i NEVER have to go through that again!

You doing a big squad of Sternguard or a 5 man squad?

S.O.N.

Hehe, I was already wondering when you'd show up SoN ;).

After getting into plasticard, I'm constantly using it :D. Addinationally, I'm already planning to purchase more plasticard, the amount I already have isn't just enough for drop pods... wait... did I just say it out loud :P. But enough rambling, not anything to say about libbie?? It was you who remember my wip librarian! ;)

4th member done.

4 out of 10 done, 6 to go. :)

The Sternguard are coming along great, very characterful for both IH and the fact they are Sternguard :tu:

Also glad you used a proper left hand too :)

I'm really liking your use of the plasticard as well, you've achieved some excellent effects with them.

I should really try and finish up the painting i'm doing on one, i mean, once the model is painted black, thats like 3/4s of the work done :D

Plus i do have a surprise of two coming up ;)

@Firenze

Glad ya like it ;).

@TAS

Thanks buddy, I wonder what suprises they could be ^_^.

@captain kantor

Haha, thanks man :D.

Phew, this week hasn't been the easiest at work, thus hinderin' modelling! Daamn it! :D

2nd Heavy Flamer. "Rushed" is best word to describe him.

Ah, i know what you mean about busy weeks, been having a few myself, so my modelling has been pushed aside a bit as well...

However, i'm at a loss as to how you can describe the 5th sternguard as "rushed" :).

The model looks great and i'm really liking how you are branching out with the bionics and everything. Really giving them a solid appearance and theme :HS:

You have just set the standard for Iron Hands......

Great conversions!!!!

@captain kantor & Captain Mick

Thanks :).

@TAS

5th sternguard is rushed, 'cause he has so many thing I'd redone entirely. But you can't get everything you want :P, so I hope that paintjob will correct modelling rushing.

@ShotgunFacelift

Hehee, thanks :D.

@Desert Eagle

Will do. Tack ;).

Can paintjob help rushed conversion?

gallery_25055_1634_278930.jpg

Thank god that its weekend soon!

They're coming along great. Alot of character and the metalics are really cool and gothic. Most of these conversion are simply stunning.

That last heavy flamer member reminds me of the first iron man suit in the latest movie. Hes like a mad scientist wanting to get revenge for a fallen brother. :D I would say to add another bit of IH icons and/or purity seals to his chest plate. That should clean him up nicely. :)

Toddius had a good point about some extra work on the chest area as there are some dimples from where the GS work wasn't perfectly flat.

However, the paint job has covered up every other imperfection well and the mini looks flawless :D

Some pretty top notch stuff. Do you think we can get a group shot? Or 3 or 4 =-D

Man..I hope I'm not like you...

I just went back and read your whole thread..because when I first showed up, I didn't think that the first picture was too great...so I didn't waste my time with the rest of the thread. But now that I'm at a point where there's painted pieces (the page I had didn't have pictures at all) Everything is awesome.

But like I said, I hope I'm not like you, I don't want to be pulling apart my Dark Angels for another army, because I really want to mount my Beamer on the Attack Bike...and the DA one is the only one I have =-P

@Snozz

Hold your horses there ;), Sternguard ain't finished yet, there'll be 5 more of them.

@happyhours

Thanks. Yeah, I have lots of random stuff lying around, and last time I bought something was last year. :D

@Master Toddius

Thanks for tips, I went for purity seal and freehand aguilla.

@Asmodeus' Swordhand

Thanks dude.

@Paladin7221

Practice and patience are the keys to success, and never be afraid of mistakes :).

@TAS

Thanks buddy, I didn't use GS on this model though ;).

@Shortsonfire79

Thanks mate :).

As Master Toddius suggested, more work on chest. Aguilla-freehand and purity seals, Vóila.

Looks better already :D.

Happy family.

More Sternguard coming on next update. What? I told you that there'll be 10-man squad :D.

No GS? For some reason i can see you making an IH dreadnought using only bits of sprue now ;)

The free hand aquila looks fantastic... I had to look at it for a few minutes just to see if you were pulling our legs and just glued a real one on :o. However the 5th Sternguard has come out beautifully :jaw:

Can't wait to see the final 5! :wub:
