thanx mate ,as for a nightlord ,i am thinking of making a few of these guys up to reprisent other legions and nightlords may well be one i will try and tackle

it will probably be something raptorish to try and capture their dark essence

thanx for the commendation. the helm is a conversion using the tzeentch helmet from the chaos marine boxset with horns cut off and replaced with the slightly carved blades off the termy autocannon and the scarab is from the tomb kings khemri warsphinx

thanx for the praise .i wish you well on your greenstuff endeavors as i love seeing other modellers ideas for the 40k universe and greenstuff is a great way to acheive it .

I dunno how I missed your thread, Daemonclaw, but I just went through it all page by page, and I expect to do so again several times in the future. Your sculpting and your painting, especially your freehand, are inspiring. There are no words to express how great this army is. I really like your daemon engines in particular, the "spaghetti monster" is brilliant. New sorcerer fellow is looking great despite the, er, booty, his pose is quite nice.

 

I have to ask, did you ever paint this fellow? Finding that pic was one of the things that convinced me to start a Word Bearers army.

Outdated or not that Apostle is still fantastic. The sculpting is nothing short of awe-inspiring, as usual - those faces on his chestplate are just stunning. If you do ever touch up the paint job, whatever you do don't touch that glowy effect on the trophy skull, that looks amazing, very creepy. Oh, and the guardsman on the base is a nice touch. :o Very much looking forward to seeing where you're going with that Crypt Horror/Haemonculus/DP hybrid.

ha ha finally got round to looking at your new project!

 

looking good mate...another demon prince to fall to my thunder hammers mwah ha ha ha :D

 

and forgot how damn hypnotic those bases were! (i play against this army and those damn bases really throw your concentration off)

 

how goes the plans for the brass scorpion??

 

and cant you pray to your chaos gods to get rid of all this rain!

having a bit of a mindblock with the" something new ",not sure whether to go insect body or hovvering flowing robes. ;)

teku the wolves will get some more love soonish ;)

and mortis the scorpion is still in its box lol not enough time to tackle the beastie yet

loving the new sorceror!

 

can tell he has had his weetabix!

 

so much better seeing the pics now he has been sprayed, can see so much more of the fine detail in nim that seems to get lost when its just in the green stage

 

mucho good work there mate!
