I see you sons of The Lion have been hiding more than Luther in the dark caverns of the Rock. :D This is absolutely fantastic work. I'm actually at a loss for words. You almost make me want to do a Lions army. Hell, you make me want to paint anything. I'll be tracking this one. Not sure what my fav is. I absolutely love that scout speeder and the masks. I need to see his pictures again to try and encourage me to do some painting.' Then, like an inverse keyser soze, up pops the thread again; like it was never gone. Your work is amazing, as always. I am both encouraged to paint and deflated by how unlikely it is anything I paint will look anything like yours! Keep posting pics, yours is by far and away my favourite DA army I have seen. For this reason i built a second LS Storm and a count as for Vulkan. Your skill is about as much better than mine is today as my current skills are better than when I started fifteen years ago. Sadly, painting skill does not improve linearly...so I guess I'll be as good as you are today (no doubt you'll by then be polishing an entire display case full of GDs) in...fifty more years? I do have one bit of criticism, though. The latest typhoon has too many icons, and redundant/mismatched ones at that. Two different styles of DA badges plus a ravenwing badge...per side? Plus a sword-bearing angel on the tip of the vane that sticks out underneath (which looks like it was skewered mid-flight a la a bug on the windshield) on top? It's a bit much. I think less would have been more here. The ravenwing badges by themselves would have been understated perfection, but I wouldn't complain about the ones on the missile boxes...it's the mismatched ones on the wings that cry out at me. I'm far too lazy myself, but I also think that grinding off the aquilla and replacing it with a larger chapter icon would be nice...is that a crux terminatus under the aquilla?
