MithrilForge Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 @ VANSAN - on the bikes there seems to be a bronzey sheen on the boltgun metal,is this from a sepia wash? or metallic highlights?. also the chest eagles on the bikers are somewhat darker in shade,is this from a wash as well or are you using darker base colors on the chest areas? In general i'd just like to say that this whole thread has inspired me to dust off my ravenwing and get it painted up!! i also had the same idea with the scouts in ravenwing - forward spotters/infiltrators seemed to fit so well into the idea of the ravenwing force and i agree that the Landspeeder "Storm" should be in our next Dex :) i like many others here hope to see more of your work!! the sooner the better :) cheers, Mithril Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The base of the chest area parts is scorched brown, then bleached bone, skull white and in the end also a water-gryphonne sepia mix. @all Thank you all for the kind words! There's really nothing more that I can say other than amazing work. It's gorgeous. All of it. Looking at your Ravenwing and Deathwing in the display case reminds me why I got into 40k.
