I will say that I was somewhat disappointed by the models, but that was mostly because there are only 3 poses available. Thankfully it's not an issue for me as I don't plan on running more than 4 at anyone time. Seeing as they are Wolf Guard (and a Wolf Guard Battle Leader) there was some sculpting needed to ensure that they tied in with the aesthetics of any other power armoured Wolf Guard in my army. Namely the reinforced armour at the base of the legs and they will all be sporting wolf cloaks. Not exactly original, but I also went with the chain lance/glaive type weapon as I figure they will need additional reach seeing as they are mounted. The WGBL will likely get a new shaft for his axe too, just looks too stubby for my liking. I looked at keeping it there for support but it would have made it thicker than I would like. The leather flaps under the arms were shaved back with a sharp knife as far as I could take them. Update on the speeder. I've actually painted more of it since these were taken and should get it finished tomorrow... The 'tank commander' model in an earlier post will get finished and added to the missing hole. None of the metals have had anything done to them yet. The only reason the dozer blade is painted in bare metal as opposed to the blue/grey scheme like the predator is that I figure with standard APCs they'll have a stock of basic blades that get attached as and when. I figure the speeder will often need to fly very close to the ground to avoid detection and the grav engines will likely kick up some dust and being my wolves, they probably won't be too fussed about hosing the underside down that much. As for the 'flying stand', well the plastic one broke, partly due to the increased weight of the model and partly because it's stupid so I used an old screwdriver. It'll get spayed black soon, and the base will have the usual flock/snow/clump foliage put on. But it's done,a s far as my ETL vow is concerned.
