shaw3029 Posted January 27, 2012 Author Share Posted January 27, 2012 Thanks very much. The method I used is the hair spray method from the Imperial Armour model Masterclass book. Basically you spray the model with a layer of hairspray airbrush a rough patch of your desired weathering colouring (in this case Scorched brown mixed with black) then once the paint has dried you take a drybrush that been dipped in hot water and that dissolved the hairspray and with it the paint ontop. The weathering was done by spraying the model with hairspray, airbrushing a rough coat of scorched brown on top and then using hot water and a drybrush you dissolve the hairspray and create the effect on the dread. I played a game yesterday against my mates dark angels it was a close fought game that ended in a draw. A turn more and I would have had won the game. I've still yet to fire both of the Contemptors heavy flamers...
