Kommissar Kai Posted August 19, 2009 Author Share Posted August 19, 2009 i had a few people from a few forums say they had seen us online when they met us in person, only one B&Cer said he was from here though, glad there were more than just one there :D we had a blast, and actually won 1st place in the costume contest for media and games division. when we went up on stage i raised my fist into the air to yell "for the emperor" and before i could, a good few members of the crowd beat me to it! it was pretty exhilarating! You should see my mutton chops...I have been growing them for over a year now... The plasma gun is wicked!!! So basically i,m Stuffed i have to make one :) Did you make a W.I.P blog or could you sent me a mail of how you made it (esp.how you connected the armor parts to the costume. Please (on my knees begging and pleading to you..) ;) ++EDIT++ Cleaning up some of the emote/language use as it was in violation of the board's ruling on swearing and how we don't like folks bypassing the filter. Commander Sasha Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Please, Please go to a professional photographer, one that specialises in dramatic lighting, and get some posed shots done! Failing that, find yourself a Rock lighting engineer (such as myself!) and get some shots and video done in a venue with smoke and moving lights. Whether you post them here (pleeeez do!) or just keep them for the memories, these costumes are too good for ordinary lights and casual photography! Plus the materials won't last forever, but the images should! Was the corset your own work, or from a corsetier? My frustration is that my wife dresses in a not disimilar fashion, but hates Snorehammer! Congratulations on finding each other! Tau next year?
