Chapter Five; Repulsive Beauty

The clawed hands planted themselves on the Daemonette’s cheeks, and forced the mouth of the Daemon to go wider as Slaanesh pulled its head out. The Emperor heard a great, blood curdling roar, and a lump formed in his stomach; this wasn’t what he was expecting. Slaanesh’s claws dig into the soft flesh of the Daemonette, drawing thick purple blood that radiated with the light of the warp. Slowly, a huge head forced its way out of the now extremely wide mouth of the Daemonette, a snout appearing first, the nostrils flaring and testing the sour air. A patter of rain came down on the Emperor’s head, and a crack of thunder could be heard in the distance. He screwed his eyes up and, as he expected, the rain began to viciously bite his skin, and little wisps of heat rose up from his burning skin. The Emperor recoiled in disgust as he saw the God’s face, and he made a face like he was sucking a wasp.

A huge head appeared, reptilian in design; scales glittered across its hide, like mail armour, and a long, thin tongue snaked its way out of the fanged maw of the God; its teeth were the size of mountains, and rivers on saliva ran between them. The acid rain left small pits in the God’s scales, but it seemed otherwise unaffected; with another roar, Slaanesh threw its head back, and it seemed to tense its muscles; moments later, the Daemonette exploded in a shower of gore and flesh, bones flying out and burying themselves in the sand. The wind began to pick up, tossing the Emperor’s hair about.

Before him stood Slaanesh; a beast with scaled skin and a reptilian like face; arms jutted out from his torso, and they seemed out of place on this monster; they were huge and bulky, not like the finesse that the rest of the body owned. He had no legs, but a huge tail kept him up; the tip rose and fell quickly, flickering and whipping about. Giant wings were spread out behind him, but instead of feathers, a thin membrane coated the hollow bones, and holes were dotted on the wings, and the dull light of the purple sky shone through the translucent wings. Slaanesh’s eyes were afire; they shone with malice and hate, and his face was twisted into what appeared to be hatred, but also jealousy; it was jealous of the Emperor’s perfection. It hissed, and the tongue hung limply at the side of his mouth.

‘Why do you come to me, Falssssse God?’ it hissed, the words stringing themselves out, a soft and alluring tone filling his voice, but the words were high in pitch. ‘Assssking for forgivenesssssss?’

‘You know full well why I am here,’ said the Emperor firmly.

‘Oh?’ Slaanesh was faking ignorance, and was clearly trying to buy himself some time. ‘I am unaware of your reasssson here. What would it beeee?’

‘Do not toy with me, beast,’ he said. ‘I have come to wipe your stain from existence.’

Slaanesh regarded him with sudden softness in its eyes; it seemed to be studying him, almost curious. ‘Then I sssssuposssse there issss nothing left to do,’ it seemed to utter the words sadly, with silent resignation.

Then it whipped out its sword, and leapt forward at the Emperor, tail propelling it forward with unimaginable power. It brought its sword up high, and swung downward; the Emperor raised his sword, parrying with the God, but Slaanesh was incredibly strong; he began to force Firelord down towards its wielder. Firelord came within two inches of the Emperor’s face, and the flames danced around it, licking their way across the blade, and one reached out and touched the Emperor on the tip of his nose. Slaanesh roared to the sky, the pleasure of the moment giving it a high.

The Emperor groaned, and he lay on the ground, the blade coming ever closer.

Bit of a teaser there for you....

Guys, I'm sorry it's taking me ages to get the update up, but, Easter and all that, family visits etc. I know I always say this, but hopefully the update should be ready by Friday.

Look at the update history of my Roboute Guilliman story. That's slow updating ;)

He struggled under the encroaching blade, his own spitting fire at Slaanesh as it leered over him. Sparks flew in rages from the blades, and Slaanesh’s tongue, snaking its way out of it’s disgusting mouth, wormed its way across the Emperor’s face, leaving a sticky, dark purple trail wherever it touched. He coughed as some fell into his mouth, and with a mighty roar, threw Slaanesh back, sending the God reeling while he clambered to his feet.

He planted his foot, and Slaanesh leered at him, arching its back and raising its shoulders. It opened its mouth, thick tendrils of saliva and gore dripping from its huge teeth. The Emperor shuddered as he saw pieces of his loyal servants wedged in the monsters jagged teeth.

Slaanesh lunged at him, and he swung his sword in a sweeping motion; he cut deep into Slaanesh’s scaled belly, drawing thick, purple blood. It spurted out over him, bathing him in a rich light; he readjusted his grip on Firelord, and plunged the blade into the God’s chest; he heard ribs break, but had missed the heart.

He pulled back on the sword, before realising that it was stuck. He tugged, but the sword was wedged fast. Slaanesh swung its blade, which collided with the Emperor’s side, and buried itself in his ribs. Like an iron wall his side held, but a crack appeared and the blade stuck out menacingly; blood began to dribble from the wound, lining the lethal wound. He screamed out, and in a rush of adrenaline, wrenched the sword out from Slaanesh’s chest. He bared his teeth, and let out a guttural roar; he pressed the attack, swinging madly at Slaanesh, driving it back, making it rear up, like a huge snake. It roared, baring those hideous teeth once more, and its breath hit the Emperor like a wave; the putrid stench of rotting flesh buffeted him, making him wrinkle his nose and clutch his hand to his face. Slaanesh took the chance to counter attack; it brought its blade up smashed it down onto the Emperor’s head; he parried at the last second, the ring of steel on steel causing both their ears to ring. Slaanesh drew its blade back again, this time striking with lightning speed at the Emperor’s neck; he deflected the blow quickly and easily. Slaanesh withdrew quicker this time, and struck again, and again and again. The Emperor was working hard to deflect each swipe, but the occasional one nipped through his defences and nicked his skin in places.

Slaanesh swung one final swipe at the Emperor, all his strength behind it; the Emperor dodged this, then lunged at Slaanesh. The God batted the Emperor’s blade aside with his hand, the sword burning the God’s flesh. The Emperor flew away, and Slaanesh laughed at this pitiful move. But the Emperor had him right where he wanted him.

Out of his adversaries range, he focussed his mind, took a deep, deep breath, then opened his eyes and roared. Lightning leapt from every point in his body, streaming towards Slaanesh in an incandescent beam of super powered light. It struck Slaanesh, and knocked it backwards, onto its back.

It lay there, purple sweat streaming down its body, the gash in its stomach oozing violently and burn marks all over it. The Emperor walked over, and put one foot on Slaanesh’s stomach.

‘I won’t even give you the honour,’ said the Emperor, and he plunged his sword into Slaanesh’s heart, and the beast-God died.

Nice update. There are a couple of sentences that I feel could be rewritten a bit better, but when I think of something to suggest I fail to come up with something better. :) But I am being picky. I really enjoy reading what you have posted so far. Of course, just ignore my opinion if you want. It's your story after all. ;)

Have you read the two previous parts? In my sig. ;)

No, I didn't see them there. Thanks for pointing them out.

Well, they are sort of the lead up to this thread, Ryld, and some characters I killed off in those. But I digress....

Of course, just ignore my opinion if you want. It's your story after all.
Quite frankly, this shocked me. I only write to improve and listen to all C&C and every opinion is valid! :)
