I've done my dread as well, since I was aiming for a local gaming store competition. Did not win, but scored some points. The pic is a bit crappy, since they took in the store, but as soon as I will get it back, I will make some better pictures. This is my own invented AoBR dread conversion - at least I've never seen anybody doing this before.

As I'm making good progress myself atm, I'd like to add 2 Long Fangs with ML, a PA Wolf Guard with a Thunderhammer+3 with Axes and Boltpistols to my already submitted vow.

I'm still not telling you what my secret model will be , but I can tell you that after a long session of modelling it came together smoothly yesterday night :P and I deem it worthy to be shown around these hallowed halls of the Fang.

This is the last day to make a vow pledge.

 

It's been a hard time for me to decide. I've been on and off again with my Wolves, but I think I'm ready.

 

Basically this gives me a month? So let me be fair with myself. I pledge the following units to be complete, or may Logan make a hair piece from my wolf loin tabbard:

 

- 10 Grey Hunters

- 2 Rhino's

 

That's probably more than I'm capable of but here goes nothing.... :)

Hello all,

 

I would like to make a Vow.

 

My Wolf Lord in TDA, Rune Priest in TDA and the 9 WG TDAs that I have built.

I am new to the Wolves, going for a non-standard paint scheme on them, and going for simple and easy with a dip.

Next go around I will be looking at my Pack of Grey Hunters.

Yes...a Logan counts as for the Terminator army list....but I am also collecting things to have Grey Hunters as my troops too, so he will also be my Wolf Lord when not needing Logan.

I posted this a while back in the conversion etc thread with no feed back, but I wanted to post the pictures here because you and I seem to be on the same wave length. I will admit I like your conversion better however. I will add on the cloak like you have once his torso is painted.

I have my Lone Wolf and one of my Grey Hunters done. My WGBL eye's are proving to be more difficult that I expected. I'm working on him whilst the GHs I'm working on at the time dries. So far it looks like I'm well on my way to my 1.5 figs painted a week, which will put me well inside my goal if I continue to paint.

 

Keep in mind my painting skills aren't that awesome ^_^

I took the two handed glaive from the Blood Angels Sanguinary Guard, cut two wolf headed bolt guns in half, and the rest is really self explanatory.

 

I am wondering about this body. What is it, and how can I get one!!??

Vow related note, I have completed and assembled all five TDA WG's and the wolves. Mold lines are shaved down and the jagged bits are sanded smooth. Now on to the painting!!

:o Oh sorry for that. I was referring to the new venerable dread plastic kit from GW ;) , the sprue comes with enough bitz for the 'torso' section to have some spares left over.

Ok, since I have way too much unpainted stuff sitting around here I may as well make a ridiculously ambitious pledge and see if it doesn't get me off my ass and back doing some painting.

Rune_Priest_Rhapsody...Bulweih is dead on. It's one of the 3-4 front plates to the Venerable Dreadnought that cover the marine's body. I was looking for something to give my Rune Priest that Psychic Hood look. I will probably add some tubing or wire later to it to make it more clear.

Thanks...I was looking for a way to make it look sorta like the bladed hammer version of Mjolnir in the Marvel Ultimates Universe. Mainly because I still wanted it to be argued it was an axe....but I am going for a lot of hammers in my army. Not necessarily thunder hammers but hammers in general, they are my favorite melee weapon.

The WGBL is coming along and I will get some very goos pics when I get done late this month but its nearly mission complete for y lot!

I think I need to explain that I have no pack markings for any unit I own at the moment. I will be giving everything markings over this next year. I will be away for a year with little else to do aside from be at work.. So I will be spending alot of time ..nearly all me evenings or what ever counts as an evening.. with the wolves. But you can see that 5 months worth of evenings and some weekends has gotten me this far. More from me when I get back!
