I have posted a picture with the two options I am considering for his pack, but I wanted the opinion of my wolf brothers before I go ahead with the painting. The Wolfpack seems the obvious choice, but I REALLY like the eaglehead pack a lot!! I think last time I played was Second Gen, going on to 3rd, I think. But will be joing the vow for Sept thru Oct vow. Right now, just getting minis together, and finding my play style, then will pick what I like and start there. Will probably pick a troop type, just due to it also has been a long time since I painted minis also, and would rather have the growing pains on them, than the heroes. :( Will post once I get an idea. S. Bloodhowl Posted August 23, 2010 Share Posted August 23, 2010 This could be a close one. 9 days left and I have to paint a Rune Priest, Wolf Lord, Dreadnought, Drop Pod and 5 Wolf Scouts! Luckily the Rune Priest and Dreadnought are ready for painting and the Wolf LOrd is half built. Tomorrow I hope to do the Amour and metal on the Priest and Dread and do the arms for the Wolf Lord and doors of the Drop Pod. I'll need to drop something to get more GW time though, hmmm... Dread.), and Brother Rune Priest Thorvald Daemonbane. I am also please to announce that the Drop Pod is half done and Sven himself is nearly built, all that leaves is the 5 Wolf Scouts! I took some WiP shots to show the interior first, sorry about the bad quality I just quickly snapped these before I went to bed. This Drop Pod shall be for my Wolf Guard and Wolf Lord and so has been converted to have larger harnesses: The Minimap I painted onto it, you can also see the harnesses better: And here's the finished Pod: Now, there is a slight issue with the door seeing as I had to convert the harnesses, oops: "Dear passengers this is your Machine Spirit speaking. I am afraid to announce that the cabin may heat up slightly as we enter the planet's atmosphere as we are having some issues with the doors. We apologies for this minor incovenience and hope you chose to drop with us again, thank you." C and C welcome as always.
