@Bjorn FireWalker, funny you should mention those names. Cerberus was the base idea and possible name for my user/online name all those years ago.

 

I like Orthrus, would like to know more about your reasoning for it, was it a nod towards the dual hurricanes?    sounds good for the pattern.

 

Orthrus pattern assault tank, has a nice ring.  :)

 

I'm sure something spacemariney/templary will come to mind for the name.

You gave the Rhino a front access point, converting it into an assault vehicle, while retaining the rear access point. In my mind, the ramps= jaws. (Incidentally, this is a great excuse to paint snarling faces on the ramps, and intimidate the enemy.)

Just read through your whole thread and theres so much amazing conversion work! The Marshal is definitely my favorite with that giant chainsword. The Orthrus pattern tank is also a brilliant conversion, love the front hatch! Looking forward to seeing more!

Thank you Vairocanum for the kind comment. The chainsword is pretty beastly, one of my favorite converted melee weapons to date. Although I plan on a MkII version which I plan to refine the bulk of the wings as they stick out a little far, plan on having them more moulded into the housing rather than on the top. So flush against the chainswords teeth. And thanks for taking the time to browse through the whole lot, there's plenty more to come.

hah, that is such a cool idea! With the modern vehicle rules too, you can do a rough approximation for points super easy too :)
