Hi Magicman, not mine to play with but I assume the customer is planning some sort of almighty apoc rampage, there are still TWO warhounds and a gunship to go not to mention 2 more Knights!

Anyhoo....

Number four! Decided to model this chap in a more dynamic running pose

BulldogUK,

Fabulous paint job(s) on all of these.

Kudos to both you and BigDaddy - I've seen a few of these 'knight' pained before. Your rendering on them really showcase both your talent and the quality and detail on the original models.

As an aside (laughing)...

Taken out of context, the last photo appears to show the Multi-melta knight tripping the AC knight, and it's gonna land hard...

Once again great models, posses and paint jobs - take a bow, both of you!

Bigdaddy, couple more to paint, one with another battlecannon/chainsaw combo and one which looks like the bossman with thermal lance cannon and shield. Think I may have a crack at the armorcast hound next just for a change of scenery. Having a couple of weeks from the 40k stuff however as I have some fantasy gear I need to clear

14th Zombie, LOL it does doesn't it! Wonder if I can make up an eye poking variant in three stooges style ^_^

ps, thanks to everbody else for the kind comments, I wasn't particularly looking forward to such a large commission, as I have mentioned before I tend to steer clear from paid work as I feel it taints my enjoyment of painting (it's more of a relaxing passtime for me) However, saying that I am really starting to enjoy this lark now, it's nice to work with lots of new and different models and it's not so painful parting with them when they are done..never know I may make 2011 the year I dip my toe into the big pool of commission work.....I just gotta clear my own (evergrowing) pile of unpainted miniatures first!

Well, had a nice week away up on't Yorkshire Moors recharging the batteries. Back and got stuck right back into the Shark commission.

Guess this is what the marine biologists out there might know as a DOGFISH!

Flying fish!

This one is quite pic heavy but it's the biggest 40k commission I have undertaken so I suppose it's worth it, surprisingly HUGE! 18" x 18" and weighs a friggin ton!

I put in a lot of extra work on the modular assembly and interior detail, things I didn't originally key in on the price but I ain't the sort to go off half cocked and like to finish a job once it's started so I hope the customer appreciates it

Enjoy!

I built the T'hawk so it could be partially disassembled for shipping and transport

The interior was fun, check out the recruitment and 'babe' poster!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/SharkGunship19.jpg

Wasn't sure what the little sockets on the edge of the flight deck were for, there weren't any spare parts and they didn't seem like mould plugs so in the interest of health and safety I decided to scratch up a little railing!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/SharkGunship20.jpg

OK when I hit the dashboard I want you to do an emergency stop...

Looks like someone was enjoying a little RnR RPG and had to leave in a hurry!

I am in love! I think thats the first Thunderhawk ive seen thats actually made me want to own one.

The Terminators piling out are just the icing on the cake.

Love the little touches on the inside too, and the way you've made it modular is very cool.
