Verpine, simply paint the whole strip a yellow of your choice then paint out your black stripes (this bit is quite relaxing) after that simply dot in the chipped areas with a suitable brush and add a little lining here n there

Fulminata, it's a nice kit but can be a ball ache to assemble in places, lots of sanding and cutting due to the large mould plugs on parts. I recommend building it's component parts like mine and painting before final assembly if those wings are gonna be glued on. It's a real wrist breaker otherwise! Apart from that quite a simple kit as it doesn't really contain many parts, the wings are one part moulds for instance, solid n heavy! Have fun, Any questions give me a nudge and I will try and help mate :)

Its rare I comment on things here in the Painting Forum, as I generally suck at painting and instead just quietly die a little inside each time I see an awesom paintjob. You sir have forced me to stop my lurking and finally post something. And my post is this:

;) - In regards to your thunderhawk. That is about the most coherent reply that expresses my opinion of such a piece of artwork. Congrats.

Forgeworld Hound finished, don't believe what they say about this thing, it's easy to build, I made it up in a day WITHOUT instructions!!! Nice kit, actually tempted to get myself a Mars pattern to sit alongside Mjolnir my Reaver!

Anyhow, heres the pics, kept the colours along the same lines as the rest of the stuff, all 4 weapon variants were included

I just registered, only to let you know how freaking awesome this is!! Amazing work!

You know you have done good when this ^ happens!

Your work is jaw dropping. The Thunderhawk is truly amazing. Love all your stuff so far. I would love to be half the painter you are.

LOL Thanks guys, just a shame I can't keep them!

Anyhoo

Finally! The last of the knights (and of this commission) bit of a comedown after the Hound but don't mention it to him, he's a little sensitive -_-

Health an Safety insisted I Had to add the hazard stripes to the saw, apparently 'some' people out there still can't figure out that the blades on a giant chainsaw attached to a 50 foot war-bot can be a little bit dangerous!

All in all a fun project, if a little daunting when I first received that rather large box of resin bits! I hope the customer is happy with the overall quality of the work and fingers crossed I managed to unify most of the models while keeping each model a little unique in it's own right

I do hope I can have some pictures when they are all assembled on the battlefield in there new deployment zone!

Any client not ecstatic about those models is a client that can never be pleased. :) Really though, amazing work. Beautiful models that capture everything cool about 40k. :P

Edit: Oh man, I just realized I missed the Thunderhawk and went and looked at it. Brother, you have slain me. That is... it's so... Seriously. It's that good.

Actually, I think you'll find that it's better......

Astounding, astonishing, amazing - I loath you, for how can you be human with such skills? :tu:

Must admit, the second Knight is actually still one of my favourites just because of the inherent humour. I mean, I know the face is sculpted that way but the placement on the base gives shades of:

'Ewwwww, dammnit, what did I just step in?'
