I'm completely blown away, Bulldog. I'm going to get the storm eagle soon and this paint job has seriously inspired me to get my airbrush back out again. Hi E, yes the hulk terms are simple to clean up, its that really nice soft plastic, get yourself a good sharp scalpel and hack away....it's quite theraputic!

 

Midnight, I can't claim freehand on the shark transfer if thats what you mean, I simply created a few transfers then overpainted....more of a paint by numbers really :)

 

Tell you something chaps, just opened the box the Spartans came in...blimey its a fair peice of kit and HEAVY...should be a fun build and paint!

The customer will provide a full army pic if he can ever hire enough space to lay it all out I would imagine!

 

After what seems like an eternity first three of the Talons are finished, got to be honest from initially not liking these, to absolutely hating them, to thinking they aint that bad, through to loathing them, I think they are quite fetching now they are finished...guess that will teach me to crack open 6 boxes at once!

All the available weapon options for 3 Talons! No magnets were harmed in the creation of this unit, I found they are a pretty snug fit anyhow and just clip on and off quite nicely

Hi mate, just thin the paint down a little and then just a steady hand, there are actually 3 layers of colour on each canopy so in effect I had to paint those canopies 54 times, very theraputic!
