When you work with logistics within a nations armed forces and marks every crater or pallet you come by with "Zeal!"

Feels great doing delivering rounds.

Edited by Pipkin

When, in your sleep deprived stupor, you stumble towards the shower and notice a package of Zest soap and tiredly read it as Zeal...

...And then become enraged that said Zeal soap isn't in a red package.

Your prayers have cone true to show your Zeal crusading the internet with this:

You see a Psychic Convention in your community and head straight towards your closest open hardware store looking for a chainsaw, a fireaxe, chains, a battery pack, 1500V transformer, an electric blower and 5 gallons of lantern fuel... and some match sticks just in case... ;)

...when all traveling magicians entering the region die within twenty four hours because their wagon mysteriously caught fire after they accidentally locked themselves in.

...when your grandiose plan to exterminate all unicorns and alicorns in Friendship is Magic turned into a plan to exterminate all ponies, period, as soon as you learned every pony was magical in some way.

...when you totally not hypocritically claim that Raven, a half-daemon witch, is Best Teen Titan.

That sounds more like a Raven Guard devotee...

Everyone who is wise to the being known as Raven knows that she has fallen prey to her foul Witch powers on more than one occasion. Were it not for the devotion of the mutant and the Ultramarine Dark Angel other bird, she would have seen justice long ago.

O-T: Is there a proper DC representation of the Templar? I cannot think of one off hand. Most Heroes are too tolerant of Magic, Xeno, or Mutant.

Batman. Dresses in black. Lays waste to all enemies. Prefers to get up-close and personal. Regularly brings down terrible mutants and witches using only his own cunning and adamantium will, plus a healthy dose of violence from the hammers of the emperor, I mean, justice.

Also a pansy who never kills. Can't be a black templar, even though he has ultramarine-grade plot armor. Not as heavy as the armor of the mass-murdering :censored: whom Gotham never executes when he's captured or who comes back from the dead the few times he's been killed, but still.

Does Nightwing kill? He might fit better, and Bludhaven is even more corrupt than Gotham.

And there aren't many intolerant heroes in DC as far as I know, because racism is bad. The only one I can think of is that guy who thinks tamaraneans are nothing in the Troq episode of Teen Titans.

...

You know you're a black templar when you daydream about one of them crashlanding in Jump City and chainswording everything that moves and most things that don't.

And several friends of his are witches. He even saved their lives on numerous occasions.

Besides, everyone knows that Night Haunter is the Batman.

I know he is Marvel not DC but I always felt The Punisher had templar like qualities. All black, armed to the teeth, completely unforgiving to anyone who violates his personal code of ethics even when, the argument could be made, they out match him i.e Spiderman. And c'mon the repeating skull moteif Grimaldus would be proud to call him one of his own...

Back to topic you know you're a Black Templar when, upon waking in a less that possitive mood, you open your bookmarked youtube video of the Dawn of war Chaplains quotes close your eyes and allow his Zeal to fuel you IN THE EMPERORS NAME!

When you keep coming back to Dawn Of War is Not Dead because of the awesome Templars in it.

(yes brothers that is a link to a YouTube video with a link to the Dawn of War Templars mod)

oh I got that, I ended a game with like 6 Land Raiders rolling around the map.

When you own a small business and are talking with potential new customers and use the term "purge" and "no pity" in reference to the competition and think to yourself afterwards it may be getting too real :)

I love that mod so much, Destroyer 40k is awesome too. Spamming vanguard Sword Brethren Squads and the chaplain as your hq so you can make them invincible against a host of 3 expert tyranid bots. So. Much. Carnage. My last battle was something like 55 marine casualties, with over 3 thousand tyranid put to the sword. Or vindicator for that matter, ;D.

You know you are Black Templar when...

... you bought your Storm Raven for your Black Templars, but changed your mind and decided to build it for your Grey Knights only to find that in a half awake state this very morning, you start gluing BT crosses all over it and modify BT Rhino and LR doors to fit it.

The Eternal Crusade at work, even when you don't know it. :biggrin.:
