it's a souls game-- they've pretty much been unbalanced towards magic users since the get go. That said, melee can be so fun in those games.

I dont know man, i felt melee was superior at least in dark souls. Backstabs and 2handers all day erry day. Then again i went for fast rolling not heavy armor.

You know youre a black templar when basecoating a LRC black is not a chore, but fills you with righteous zeal for whats to come!

Edit: Also we are closing on 100 pages. Truly we are the emperors most dutiful.

I feel you brother-- if I used any sort of magic, it was faith based. Melee for life. Anyways, more on topic: you know when-- you're offered a chance to play in a store mega battle versus "insert race here" and you immediately start prepping for a melee push army composition. (The next one is going to be against necrons. I can't wait)

When you play XCOM2 and make a point of taking as many Rangers in Heavy Armour as you can, to kill the Xenos with flamethrowers and swords.

When your Rangers have the Implacable trait (run action after a kill) and you always use it to close with the enemy, not hit&run.

When your first Ranger gets auto-nicknamed and it's "Templar". Figures.

Ahahah welcome to my homeland Mattias.

Portugal has a very strong connection to the Templar order.

( and several other Knightly orders).

Try to go to Tomar and visit the Templar Castle.

You know you're a Black Templar when you track down whoever defiled that gate with graffiti and feed them their own paint cans and markers before burning them at the stake. :laugh.:

You know your black Templar when your playing fallout 4 and you choose to side immediately with the real brotherhood of steel, the fanatical xenophobic ones who seek to rid the commonwealth of mutants and synths, not those wimpy Lyons brotherhoods. You then take the mission purging the greenskins. I tried a melee build but it honestly was pretty boring.

When you get angry that some Space Pup brings this thread off-topic for even a single post.

The main character in 'One Punch Man' is the very personification of many of a Black Templar's ideals; he transformed himself from a mere human to one with godlike powers, via physical training and sheer determination to improve himself; he fights non-human monsters to defend human beings, not out of a prideful desire to demonstrate his strength and to have everyone know his name, but because it is his self-declared duty (he often describes himself as "just a guy who's a hero for fun"), and only his death will prevent him from doing his duty.

Put him in scout armor, and watch as Abaddon the Despoiler is reduced to small pieces of meat covering a very large field.

When in your first game in a year and a half your first thoughts were .. land raider Spartan and a LRC charge forwards and unload a black tide right the your enemies face!

Sadly, I'll be needing support units and objective securing units. :( .Mine you though, killing all the enemies is still and victory condition.
