I started with a solid basecoat of Mechrite Red over a Chaos Black undercoat. Then I followed with many thin layers of Blood Red, which were then highlighted with a mix of 2:2:1 Blood Red, Dwarf Flesh and Skull White. I added more Skull White for finer highlights and then glazed the model with a mix of 3:1 water and Baal Red. The yellow was Iyanden Darksun painted over a Chaos Black undercoat, before I washed the recesses with Gryphonne Sepia and then highlighted with Iyanden Darksun and Skull White 1:1.
