I went to a 1500 points tournament with my Dark Wolves and took 4th place (out of 22) and also won best painted!

If you are interested you can read the battlereports on my blog http://skyrarsdarkwolves.blogspot.be/

The next I will be going to will be a 1750 points tournament. I have assembled all the infantry models and parts that I still need for that list: two long fangs with missile launchers, a long fang with multi-melta and two terminator combi-plasma arms. For ease of painting, I glued the heads to a piece of sprue.

I also airbrushed the basecoat on the new display board.

And, as I had the airbrush out, I also applied the undercoat to the new models.

The day after I finished the display board which only took two drybrushes with grey paints ...

And this is how the list I will be taking to the 5th ed doubles tournament tomorrow looks on the display board ...

Looking good as allways! Love the new display board

You're gonna add snow later I guess?

Congratz on the Best Painted!

I don't know yet. Right now I can still use it for different armies. If I add snow, that will limit it's use. I'll think about it :)

I cleaned, assembled and magnetised the final drop pod for my 1750 tournament list.

I also added a hole to the bottom so I can have it elevated on my display board just like the 6th drop pod.

I pulled out the airbrush again and sprayed both the undercoat on the drop pod parts and the basecoat on the marine parts. I then also applied the different basecoats on the drop pod parts.

Exquisite work!! Everything looks fantastic. Your wolves are an inspiration to me. After seeing your work I will definately be attempting similar work.

I do have one question though. Where did you find the missile launchers? Wouldn't mind getting some for myself.

Keep up the fantastic work, looking forward to seeing more!

The last models for my 1750 tournament list have seen a little progress the last week. I applied the basecoats to the marines and to the drop pod parts and washed them.

The drop pod is finished, including magnetising the doors.

The three longfangs are almost finished. I only need to flock their bases. The extra combi-plasma terminator arms are also finished.

I've gotten a bit of a backlog on my updates. I recently based the long fangs.

That finished my 1750 list just in time for the Warpstorm tournament on saturday the 24th of november.

I have made some progress on my landraider. This is the first one I ever assembled. Just to make sure, I magnetised as much as possible, starting with the hatches and sponsons.

http://imageshack.us/a/img42/7517/dsc01752hd.jpg

I also added the greenstuff dark wolves icons.

I bought some kromlech landraider dozer blades. This is a decent kit. I also magnetised them which was a bit tricky.

Since some of the tracks have imperial symbols on them, I made a mould of one of the normal tracks and cast them with green stuff

http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/4117/dsc01766dt.jpg

After that I assembled the kit. The dirge caster is also magnetised and can be attached at three locations. But I glued the model together before taking a pic of the magnets on the inside.

I also converted the dark vengeance helbrute. I made a mould of the face bit, cast it in green stuff, cut it up and inserted a wolfen head. I also trimmed down both undersides of the breast plate to give it a more dreadnought look. A bit of green stuff was required to fix up the area.

For my Abbadon version of Skyrar, I bought a finecast abbadon and used his weapon arms to convert regular chaos terminator arms.
